Good morning everyone

Cloudy here and not expected to be as warm as the last couple of days. There was no thunder here yesterday and only a tiny amount of rain.

Yogi, I hope your rib is starting to get less sore and that you were able to get some sleep.

That teenager said afterwards that she had acted instinctively to push the bear and get her dogs. Nothing serious in terms of injury though she sprained one of her fingers.

I hope everyone has a good day

Good morning everyone

A cloudy start to the day here. Much cooler than yesterday too, for now

Cloudy changing to sunny intervals by early evening. A high of 22° expected

Yogi, I hope you are feeling much better today

That lady who had the bear confrontation was lucky she only had a sprained finger

Enjoy your day everyone

Evening all

It rained in the morning and is now sunny.

Hi gents. The lady who pushed the bear was lucky she only hurt her finger.
That knitting is fantastic.
I hope you’ve all had a good day

Hi Yogi

Sunny and cloudy here. A few spots of rain a little while ago but it didn’t amount to much

I thought the knitting was quite brilliant

I hope there is a noticeable improvement in you cracked rib

My day has been good fankoo, I hope yours has too

Link to a 1941 film "Peer Gynt" on Youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmsaC0riycM
It's an adaptation of the play by Henrik Ibsen for which Edvard Grieg wrote his well known music suite.
It was made as an independent experimental film, very very low budget, by a 21 year old using amateur actors. It's black and white with only the music as the soundtrack.

Although the actors were all amateurs, the part of Peer Gynt was played by someone who would years later become a major film star. He was 17 or 18 at the time the film was made.

BBC has announced today that the next series (the 9th) of Father Brown has started filming. Due to the pandemic, production had ceased which is why there was no series at the start of this year.

The new series of 10 episodes will be shown early next year. No significant changes in the regular cast.

The 10th episode will be the 100th episode which will be set on Hew Year's Eve (set, rather than shown) and will include Nancy Carroll as Lady Felicia.

As in previous series Flambeau will be appearing.

No specific news on the next series of Shakespeare and Hathaway (the 4th) other than IMDB mentions a 4th series due this year. No guarantee that's correct though.

Yayyy, I love Father Brown

Although it will be good to see Nancy Carroll back, I wish Lady Felicia and Sid were back as regular characters.
