Just been cutting the grass, it was rather long as it was the first time since 30 March. Hadn't needed cutting during the dry weather in much of April and then, as everywhere it's been rather wet. Last couple of days has had a trivial amount of rain so today the grass was relatively dry. About 3 times quantity of grass cut compared to normal.

Good morning everyone

A sunny start to the day here. The forecast is for sunny changing to cloudy by nighttime with a high of 20°

I hope it’s sunny where you are too

Enjoy your day everyone

Very similar forecast as mine. Next week is expected to get to 24°, another reason I cut the grass today as the temperature is more comfortable for doing that.

Good morning everyone

A cloudy day here, may get some rain.

Yogi, I hope your wildflowers are very nice

Just had my energy bills covering the last 6 months. Little difference in the amount of electricity used, 12% more gas used. That's wholly due to April and May having been cooler than normal.

I hope everyone has a good day

Started work on a set of client accounts. Found that they've had a refund of bank charges - they used to be charged ÂĢ1 per month for fortnightly bank statements. Rules changed so that as the monthly ones were free they shouldn't have been charged the ÂĢ1. Goes back years. The refund is part refund (which is business income as these are business accounts) and part interest from which 20% tax has been deducted so that goes in box 1 of the main tax return.

So I need a spit of the refund between charges and interest. That split is missing from the box of documents from the client. So I've emailed them about this as it could take quite some time if they have to contact their bank. Worth getting the split as otherwise they effectively would be paying double tax on the interest part,

The documentary "Nederlands in zeven lessen" (1948)

It's in Dutch. The most interesting part starts at 6 minutes 56  seconds when you see a young woman walking on the pavement, stops before crossing the road, crosses the road, is hailed by the narrator, she says something, and the next moment you see her as a plane stewardess. She appears from time to time until 11 minutes 7 seconds when she says "Good Bye".
19 at the time and her first appearance on screen. She is in the credits right at the end,

Evening all I haven’t read back yet.

Sunny morning, followed by a cloudy afternoon and now it’s sunny again.

I managed to pot up my hanging baskets so ðŸĪžðŸŧthere are no more frosts.

I hope you’ve all had a good day
