Here's Gabriel Fauré's "Berceuse" from his "Dolly Suite". That was a collection of short piano duets.

That piece of music may strike a chord with you as it was used by the BBC as its play-out tune on the radio programme "Listen with Mother"

El  I couldn’t get into GaGa a while ago. Now I am able to get in its really slow loading. Any reports of problems?

Moonie, does seem rather slow. Probably a server issue. I'm not aware of any reports of problems but the way reports are made via:
https://hey.crowdstack.com/pages/customer-support

are now done via email so we no longer get to see what others have reported.

If problems continue you can either send an emai via the above or do a mention (@) to Lori.

Don’t you just love our weather?

We have what is called a temperate oceanic climate. Oceanic because the Atlantic Ocean has a major influence. Temperate because the temperature is relatively mild compared to some regions.

Temperate has another meaning - showing moderation or self-restraint

Good morning everyone, from the early bird instead of the night owl.

Pouring with rain and chilly too.

Squiggle, the children have really have grown since we were last able to mind them. Although there is nearly 3 years between them, BB is almost the same height as PB. BB gets his height genes from his daddy and grandad whereas PB is dinky like her mum and granny. 😄

I visited my parents yesterday…the first time I’ve seen them since we dropped off their Christmas on the doorstep. They are both fine.

GBM tonight so I won’t be around later. Have a good day, all

Good morning everyone

Windy here and more rain today. Locally, the 100mm level of rain in this month was reached yesterday.

Yogi, nice to see your parents again after all this time

I hope everyone has a good day

Hi Yogi

Its the early bird that gets the worm 😉

Our weather is the same as yours. More to come too

My mum was 5’ 2”, my sister isn’t much taller. Whereas my dad was 6’ plus. I am 6’ 2”

That’s really good news about your parents Yogi

I hope you have a good day too

Moonie

This week I've received a couple of emails which had gone into my spam folder. They were from the same person in China representing a medical supplier there. Subject matter was a bit different in the two emails but related to the supplies of syringes and medical gloves. Clearly targeting health professionals so don't know why I was sent them.

I've forwarded these to the National Cyber Security Centre so that they can investigate them as the emails are potentially more serious than normal. Other than an automatic thank you response I won't hear back.

My eldest son gets his height genes from his dad, with middle son just a bit shorter but, poor youngest son got lumbered with my family’s height genes. He is big on personality though.

Good morning everyone

Rain here has stopped at present, cloudy, more showers possible later.
If the full scale Glastonbury festival was taking place, it would be a mud bath

I hope everyone has a good day

Yes, the Glastonbury Festival is being livestreamed, but not the usual one as it's closed to the public and is just a five hour do and just for one day - today. It's not on television or radio. Only accessible to those who pay £20 for a ticket.
https://www.glastonburyfestiva...eam-event-announced/
From 7pm this evening.

For those of you who don't want to pay, there's Eurovision from 8pm

I'm not intending to watch either. Haven't seen anything of Eurovision for many many years. I did see the 1994 contest which was in Dublin. That of course was the one where the interval was the most memorable interval ever. Riverdance were unknown at that time and of course became world famous.
