Moonie, here's a list in chronological order of Steven Spielberg's films that I've seen:
The Sugerland Express (1974), Close Encounters.. (1977), Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), E.T. (1982), Empire of the Sun (1987), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), Always (1989), Jurassic Park (1993), A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001), Catch Me if You Can (2002), War of the Worlds (2005), Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) and the Tintin film (2011). Only Close Encounters and E.T at the cinema, the rest on television, don't have any on DVD.
13 films may seem quite a lot but there are more than 13 that I haven't chosen to see even on television including famous ones such as Jaws and Saving Private Ryan.
By the way "The Sugerland Express" was his first cinema film and had Goldie Hawn in, not one of her comedy films. "Always" featured Audrey Hepburn in her last film.
"A.I." was directed by Spielberg and dedicated to Stanley Kubrick who had intended to make the film one day but died before he could. The film is sort of Spielberg trying to make the film that Kubrick had in mind but it doesn't work as Spielberg makes it somewhat sentimental and Kubrick's films are hardly sentimental.
"Tintin" is weird, sort of animated live action.
