All's well here and I hope that for you as well
Never seen that film "Glengarry Glen Ross" as it's not something I would want to watch
A rain day here, wettest for quite some time, even had some rumbles of thunder.
It's got some soundtrack El. I picked it up in a charity shop in Falkirk. Never bought it - mistake.
Still, hope you're okay

Good morning everyone
A cool, overcast start to the day here. The forecast is, cloudy changing to light rain by lunchtime. A high of 10°
Another day in for me
Yogi, I hope you have a good day too
El, fancy trying to get that coin into a coin machine
Have a lovely day everyone
Moonie, or carrying that coin in your pocket
The price of that ÂĢ10,000 coin isn't disclosed but would be considerably more than ÂĢ10,000.
One can buy a smaller version of that coin which has a denomination of ÂĢ100. The cost of that on the Royal Mint website is ÂĢ1,396.27 - that's their estimate as it depends on the price of gold at the time the coin is ordered. That indicates that the cost of the ÂĢ10,000 coin would be around ÂĢ140,000.

I'll never forget my uncle giving me a Krugerrand for my 21st.
He did look after me. Ever bottomed out a Daimler 420 on a Boness back road. He had to get out to see what the damage was. I'll tell you how reliable that car was - it had six engines.
Aye, Uncle Ian was alright. I think my mum was faster though.
Love
Velvet, krugerrands became quite topical years ago for tax reasons
Now they would be subject to capital gains tax being in non-sterling currency
(foreign currency for use abroad on personal expenditure is exempt).
Never knew that EL

Thatâs good to hear
Re diddling - reminds me of Hey Diddle Diddle.
J R R Tolkien did a version of that in his writing. There's a shorter version in The Hobbit, but a longer version is his "The Adventures of Tom Bombadil". This is him reciting the full version (audio only)

Thatâs most interesting El. Thanks
Moonie, Harrogate are at home to Cambridge this evening. That match could have a significant impact as to whether or not Cheltenham are eventually the champions. If Cambridge win, they go to the top this evening. Harrogate are outside either the promotion play offs or the relegation zone. Cheltenham's match tomorrow is away at Newport who are right in the promotion play offs zone so it's not going to be an easy match.
The final matches Saturday week are Cheltenham at home to Harrogate (again) and Cambridge at home to Grimsby who have already been relegated.
Bolton are the other side who could be champions but have a poorer goal difference (+7) than either Cheltenham (+20) or Cambridge (+22)
HMRC has created a manual all about cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoins.
They consider that tax does arise on any profits and that they don't consider it to be gambling.

More to do with being good at mental arithmetic when I was at junior school. That helped in the early years of my accountancy career in the days before calculators and before computers became widely used.
