I heard a very strange piece of music on Radio 3 a few days ago. Francesca Fargion's "I am Oh (spell for direct vision)". Starts at 10 minutes 50 seconds and ends at 14 minutes 20 seconds:

Metronomic music with women chanting as if to teach very young children to speak.
(a metronome is a device used by musicians to mark time at a regular interval)

a really weird piece  EL but the singer had a lovely voice - really interesting though EL  and food for thought

If it happens it would be issued by the Bank for use by households and businesses. It would exist alongside cash and bank accounts, not replace them.
There would be no difference in value between this digital money and cash/bank accounts. So, although it's digital, it's not like cryptocurrency such as bitcoins.
