Live world championship snooker with an audience

That snooker is the first of the sporting events to be trialling whether or not to permit people at events. The first day has about 400 people attending, The numbers will increase during the tournament. All those attending are required to have had a negative test either on the day or the previous day, They will be required to take another test 5 days later. They will be monitored to see what happens. The players and officials aren't required to wear masks but everyone in the audience is.
Tomorrow's FA Cup semi final between Leicester and Southampton will have 4,000 people in the stands. Similar requirements as for the snooker. Those people are residents of the borough of Brent where Wembley is together with key workers.

It is El

I did know about the trial for the FA Cup semi-final but not the requirements to be a Brent resident

I heard a very strange piece of music on Radio 3 a few days ago. Francesca Fargion's "I am Oh (spell for direct vision)". Starts at 10 minutes 50 seconds and ends at 14 minutes 20 seconds:

Metronomic music with women chanting as if to teach very young children to speak.
(a metronome is a device used by musicians to mark time at a regular interval)

Evening all

Overcast and showery today.

El, that music is weird. I donā€™t know about ā€œnight time musicā€ because it would give me nightmares,

Moonie, have you been to the park today?
I did housework, ironing and cooked a roast dinner....and not much else.

I hope youā€™ve all had a good day.

Hi Yogi

A lovely warm day here, when it got going

I have been up the park and all the various families are all present and correct

I even had a poser of a squirrel up there. Stood and let me take some piccies before scurrying off

What? Thatā€™s enough I should think for one day

My day has been good. I hope you managed to relax after all that housework
