@El Loro posted:Yes, 2-0 Salford did get the ball in the net but it was ruled out. As you probably know, Salford is part owned by 5 past Man U players who are well known (better known than the two American actors who recently bought Wrexham).

Re Midsomer Murders, tonight's "new" episode was made back in 2019 as was next Sunday's episode. These and the previous two "new" episodes were the 4 part 21st series. Apparently there's to be a 22nd series with 6 episodes though I doubt they will be shown as a series Filming of that series started last October.

One of the cars next door has been in a right crash. All the front is crushed in and the airbags had been deployed
That will cost a few quid to put right
The guy whoβs car was in the crash must be okay because he was picked up about the time he usually goes to work

If the car is old, the insurance company would be more likely to write the car off as scrap and pay the owner the market value (before the crash). That would be where the market value is lower than the cost of repair

The car is reasonably new by the looks of it El. I could tell more if I knew the plate number but have never noticed it to be honest
Afternoon all
A dry, cloudy and cool day.
Apart from some housework and cooking, I havenβt done a lot.

So Clive Myrie is to be the new Mastermind host:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat-56484185
Apparently he will be the 5th person to be the host. I know that Magnus Magnusson was the first and John Humphrys is the current one.
I had to look up to find out who the second and third were. BBC television dropped it when Magnus Magnusson left, it moved to Radio 4 for a time and was hosted by Peter Snow. Then it moved to the Discovery channel in 2001 and was hosted by Clive Anderson for just one series. Then back to BBC with John Humphrys from 2003.
I had a look at that crash damaged car next do El. The number plate was two letters then 09. According to the DVLA website that means it was issued 1-3-2009

That's not a new car then, If you depreciate a car by 25% a year then a car which cost Β£15,000 in March 2009 would have a written down value of Β£475 now.

Thanks for that info El
I noticed he had a guy looking at it this afternoon. Probably getting a quote for the repair
Popping in to say goodnight and sweet dreams, Moonie and Ros
Hug for any night owls
