Good evening all
Still freezing cold and had a couple of snow flurries today, to add to the snow thatβs still lying.
Oh no El, Iβm sorry the computer is playing up again.
Housework, washing, drying and cooking....then reading
Hope youβve all had a good day.

Hi Yogi
Weβre going down to zero overnight but with a feel like temperature of -5. The good news is it should be our last days/nights of sub-zero temperatures for the next week or so, at least
Reading is definitely the best part of that
My day has been good. I trust yours has too

Good morning everyone it's extremely windy here and set to stay like that all day.
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning everyone
Very cloudy here and rain forecast for later. Not as cold as recently.
Thanks Yogi re my computer. I have little doubt that the main hard drive has failed so will need to be replaced.
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone
Cloudy and cold here. Weather forecast is for sleet changing to heavy rain by lunchtime
The rest of the week is set to be warmer but wetter. Still, itβs better than cold and snow
El, I hope you get that new hard drive soon
I hope everyone has a good day

Hi and bye tonight
We had some rain this afternoon so most of the snow has gone.
Did your rain arrive, Moonie?
El, I hope you can get a new hard drive for your computer
I was reading a proper book (rather than a Kindle one) for the first time in ages. Guess which numpty touched the page and attempted to scroll down? π

Noite all
Good morning everyone it's supposed to be a dry day and much milder than it has been.
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning everyone
Very overcast here, rain seems to have stopped, a lot milder than recently.
I'll try to contact my computer people later to see what they are able to do.
I hope everyone has a good day
Taken my computer in to my computer people. They will see if they can sort it out. It would involve changing the worn out D drive with a smaller SSD drive, may be able to put in an extra one to keep the present capacity. Move from Windows 7 to Windows 10, and a clean reinstall so I would need to reinstall the programs I use.
The big question is due to that Windows 10 officially need at least 4th generation processors and mine is 3rd. So it may not work. The man I spoke with that it's fine for some pcs, but not others such as Dell. Mine is an Asus.
I have seen online people who have migrated from Windows 7 to 10 on my type of computer - they did have problems but those seem to have been sorted via a clean reinstall.
It's against policy for them to try to stay with Windows 7 as support ended some time ago. Windows 8 is to horrible to consider that.
Snap El. Asus Windows 7.
Fingers and everything else crossed
Good morning everyone
Overcast here but dry. Much milder than yesterday
The weather forecast here is for sunny intervals changing to cloudy by early evening with a high of 11 degrees
I hope they can sort you computer El
It may be worth considering a new one
I have an Asus laptop but I know that would be of little use to you.
Have a lovely day everyone. I hope the sun shining on you like it is on me here

Thanks as well
It may be that I have to get a new computer but it won't be easy due to the lockdown and there's a world wide shortage of chips (microprocessor ones, not potato).

Curry's do them. Not all are next day delivery though.
I've already thought of that.
Good afternoon how are you all?
Iβm glad to hear that Moonie has sunshine weβve had a foggy start but itβs just grey, cold and damp now. Iβm grateful that my freezer is full of home cooked food.
El, I feel frustrated for you! I hope your computer issues are resolved real soon
A station has re-opened at Bow Street after 56 years.
Bow Street in Wales, not the one in London
Station reopening at Bow Street
I wonder if a station will ever be reopened at Adelstrop (the well known poem by Edward Thomas of that name)

They do. It's a bit different for me as I've been using my computer people for tech support, and a/v. So get a more personal service than I would elsewhere.

Hi Sweet
Yes, we had sunshine earlier. Now itβs occasional sunshine and we just had a light shower. A light breeze has got up too.The wind direction has changed to opposite of what it was yesterday
I hope you and Miss Bramble are keeping well π πΎπΎ

Mercedes aren't the cars they used to be. They're mass manufacturers alongside Ford.
I can remember a 300SEL 3.5 and a 250 SL manual.
Those were the days. Niche.

I know what you mean
A long time ago (certainly over 30 years) I worked with someone who had put his name down for a Morgan.
He would have got it after he left the firm. At that time, the waiting list was around10 years. 220 cars made a year by hand.
Malvern
BMW power now. I loikes them
I'll always be an Alfaholic though. Bristol.
They turn out some serious cars.

Yes, at Malvern. We had a client who was based in Malvern. It wouldn't surprise me if the man who ordered a Morgan had popped in there whilst working at the client
