Having just one client tax return lieft to be filed, HMRC announced a short time ago that they are extending the filing return deadline from 31 January to 28 February:

Same HMRC article mentions that any self-employed person needs to pay their tax and class 2 NI by 31 January if they need to claim a contributory benefit soon afterwards as it they don't their benefit could be affected.

Very cloudy, a couple of degrees over zero throughout the night, rain is forecast any time now.

Received approval overnight fom the last client tax return so have just filed that with HMRC.

Yesterday I got one of those recorded phone calls about my internet being disconnected in 24 to 48 hours due to illegal activity and to press 1 to speak to an executive. About an hour later I got a similar call though that started talking about a missed call.

Exactly the same happened this mornng.

Obviously I ignored these scam calls. Clearly the same scammers though the phone numbers were different - all random numbers, 3 apparently UK ones and 1 which looked more like an Indian phone number rather than a UK one.

The forecast rain has arrived so the snow should be gone by tomorrow

I’m watching a recorded Aussie soccer game. The commentator just said “the temperatures are still in the 30’s here.”

I watched a cracker of an Aussie game last night. 1-0 at half-time. It ended up 5-4

A goal every 4 to 5 minutes. Every time a sub came on, he scored. One even got two goals

All but one of the goals was “special” too

El, we hadn’t had any scam calls for a few weeks but in the last few days, Mr Y got the Amazon one and we’ve had a couple of “International” ones that we ignored.

Very cloudy here, has been some rain and more rain forecast this evening.

Moonie, as you mentioned, Cheltenham had a better evening than West Brom.

Oldham Athletic, Salford City and Bolton Wanderers of League 2 are all in the Greater Manchester area so less of a coincidence re Cheltenham's match
