Fog never lifted here so the temperature has remained just below zero all day.

We haven’t had any fog but it’s still been cold but fog and snow expected for most of tomorrow

Evening all
It snowed overnight and has been freezing cold all day. I stayed cosy indoors.
I hope you have all had a good day and stayed warm
Goodnight and sweet dreams, Moonie and Ros

Good idea to stay indoors. I did too
night yogi moonsie
Good morning everyone it's a cold morning again and like most places in England we have a snow warning. Looking forward to the slightly higher temperatures next week.
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning everyone
Another cold and cloudy day here. Doesn't seem to be any frost or ice, that's more likely at this time tomorrow as cloudy by then.
I hope everyone has a good day
Sony Movies channel is showing "Double Indemnity" (1944) this morning and again next Thursday morning, Directed by Billy Wilder and starring Fred MacMurray, Barbara Stanwyck and Edward G Robinson, "Double Indemnity" is a strong contender for the best film noir ever made.
Good morning I hope you’re all warm and dry, we’ve had a good snowfall overnight! I have to drive my mum to a routine hospital appointment this afternoon but I should the roads will be fine to do so by then
El, that’s a strong recommendation! I bet it’s a brilliant film I don’t think sky movies comes under the free channels package though

I hope your mother's appointment goes well
I should have put Sony Movies, not Sky . Sony Movies is channel 41 on Freeview
The 22nd Harbin (China) Ice and Snow World opened recently. Obviously the only people who can go there are the local people. Here is a clip (nearly 12 minutes long).
It's extraordinary

I’ve seen that film version many a time El
Good afternoon everyone
Its not to cold but it is snowing on and off. A yellow warning for snow, ice and fog for most of the day
I hope you’re all well and managing to stay warm
Have a safe and warm day everyone

I've seen Double Indemnity a few times as well
Good afternoon from the hospital car park I can’t go in with my mum but luckily I got a parking space right outside the main entrance (thank you universe!)
the roads are wet, but the snow isn’t a problem. I built a snow unicorn this morning
El- oh even better! Sony movies is free, I’ll have to record that movie, thank you. I fancy a film noir movie night
are you all keeping warm & cosy?

You were lucky to get s parking space close to the main entrance
I was talking with a client on the phone yesterday and she told me that she told her grandchildren the reason why there are no unicorns is because two of them were misbehaving and so Noah didn't let them on the ark
"Double Indemnity" is 10.45 am to 1 pm on Thursday 14th.

We had snow overnight and it settled. The main roads were clear which was handy as I had a hospital appointment.
You were lucky getting parked close to the entrance, Summer. Our hospital car park was really busy and I had to walk up from the bottom of the hill - some idiot thought it would be a good idea to build a hospital at the top of a hill
Love the unicorn story, El.
Moonie, did you manage to stay warm and cosy?

I did indeed. I hope you did too

Hi Moonie
No, it was a daft idea. I needed an oxygen mask by the time I’d walked from the bottom of the car park to the hospital entrance.🙈

Awwwwww,
night yogi moonsie
Good morning everyone it's hopefully the last of the really cold days, the temperatures barely get above freezing all day. That sounds a nightmare Yogi
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning everyone
Very similar weather here as yesterday, cold and cloudy, no sign of ice ot frost. Forecast to be a bit warmer tomorrow and another small rise into Monday.
Yogi, it does seem odd to build a hospital at the top of a hill
I hope everyone has a good day
Moonie, I hope your team does well this afternoon
Chaltenham's match is tomorrow.

Thanks El. We live in hope
I hope Cheltenham also have a good day tomorrow
Strange fact. Of the planets in our Solar System, the planet with the highest density is Earth, Saturn has the lowest. Not that it's possible but if the planets were put into water, they would all sink other than Saturn which would float.

Night night, sleep well, sweet dreams everyone
