Though it's summer there and the only cases recently have been visitors from abroad, no local cases in New South Wales. Very different to this country.

Not a film I'm watching but Channel 5 is currently showing a film called "A Bramble House Christmas"

I’ve had an intense week but I absolutely love my new work place! It is already my favourite work place ever and we’ve all said that it feels like I’ve never not been there. I’m so happy, and grateful. The bonus is that I’ve earned myself a living this week too, which is wonderful.

Had my 6 monthly dental hygienist appointment this morning. Similar to last time and still nothing like polishing allowed.

At least you got your check up sorted El

Extremely unpleasant news item which took place on Friday evening Very small park surrounded by roads including a busy main road. I was aware of this before I went to my dentist which is a 2 minute walk from that park.

Re that Cheltenham/Exeter match on Saturday, Exeter had either won or drawn against Cheltenham in their previous 11 matches, so the win was long overdue.

There was a hard frost overnight and it has remained chilly all day. Moonie, we had some fog at stupid o’clock but it lifted.

Summer, I’m glad things are going well for you

El, do you know if dentists allowed to do emergency extractions and fillings?

Similar weather here as Squiggle's - cold, clear and generally dry.

Yogi, I believe that dentists can still do emergency extractions and fillings They would need to assess each patient's needs and wear the appropropiate level of PPE. Something like polishing would be regarded as non-urgent, also whitening and similar cosmetic procedures.

Moonie, Cheltenham are at home to Portsmouth (4th at present in League One) in the EFL Trophy this evening. Cheltenham were top of their group (Southern F), Portsmouth 2nd in their group (Southern A). This round 2 and the next round are regionalised (North and South). These rounds have just the one leg, no extra time, and if a draw after 90 minutes is settled by penalty shoot out.

Mount Everest is now officially 8,848.86m (29,032 ft) high rather than China's previous official height of 8,844.43m. the mountain is still growing at about half a metre per century.
