A cool and overcast start to the day here. We are set for some sunshine later though 
I see Cheltenham won yesterday
After a promising start and two super goals, West Brom lost 5-2 
I have a feeling this is going to be a tough season for us

Moonie, yes, Cheltenham won yesterday though they lost the first match of this season which was not what was expected.
It does seem to be a problem for teams such as West Brom who are newly promoted to get going in the new season, I did mention that I wasn't too disappointed that Cheltenham missed out on promotion last season for just this reason

We did manage to beat Harrogate Town 3-0 in the Carabao Cup though

It was misty at 5am, then a sunny but chilly day.
We went to B&Q to choose paint for the hall and stairs. Of course, when I had finally decided on a colour, they didn’t have it in stock.
We’ve ordered it for Click and Collect in another store and hubby will pick it up later in the week.

Tonight's Panorama is about something called the FinCEN files. Lots of information about this on the BBC site but it's very heavy going to read it. Big time international money laundering. No doubt there will be calls for the money laundering regulations to be strengthened even further than they are which will affect me and quite possibly every one.
If any of you have savings with NS&I or premium bonds, they've announced a sizeable drop in their rates to take effect in a couple of months:

For the last few months they've had some of the best rates available. I suspect the announcement won't go down at all well with many savers.
