Evening all

A dry and bright day so we did some gardening. Then I did washing and housework while Mr Y watched cricket.

El, I’m glad you didn’t post the link to that music

Moonie, I hope you enjoyed a quiet day

Velvet, hope the house cleaning went well.

I see you have been busy too

I hope Mr Y enjoyed the cricket

Never seen The Tenant. Seen hardly any of Polanski's films. Never seen his most famous film "Rosemary's Baby" as my mother asked me not to many years ago so I haven't, not that it's a film which I want to see.

That's respect.

I have it too in my own little way

Those of you who have email notifications from people on this site of replies they've quoted or done a reaction to may have noticed that recently there's been a change in the layout of the email. Crowdstack did a system update last week and this is the result of that. The update was called the Digest Release. The main thing it did has not been brought in for this site. It was to change the notification emails to be on a daily or weekly basis. The release notes are complicated but it looks as if the different types of notification such as reacted to or mentioned would be done together. Hopefully that digest system won't get brought in. As a moderator I get email norifications of any replies which have been noted for moderation. Looks as if those get merged with other notifications - very few of those here but moderators on other websites aren't happy.

For those of you who pay for Premium membership, the payment system has been renamed from FeePod to Crowdstack Pay which makes more sense as we are used to seeing powered by Crowdstack at the bottom of each page whereas the name FeePod did cause confusion.

Client who rang me last week due to deliver his documents here later today.
I wrote a reminder letter to another client a few days ago. I had written to them back in April but hadn't heard back from them They rang me yesterday and said that they never got that letter. So it's just as well that I sent them a reminder letter

I hope everyone has a good day

BBC article on some traditional crafts which are in danger of dying out:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-51724046

The part of the article on arrow making doesn't mention that the feathers which are attached are collectively known as fletching, each feather is a fletch, and the person attaching them to the shaft of an arrow is known as a fletcher.

Evening all

A rather showery day. Heating was on again this morning.

The tiddlers were on good form.  They are glad to hear you are feeling a bit better, Moonie
El, it’s a shame that some traditional crafts are dying out.

Good job you sent out the reminder to your client

Hope everyone has had a good day

I’ll pass on those hugs

BB is into sending virtual hugs because of Covid. He wraps his arms around himself them flings them open, sending the hug to the other person, and he blows kisses - very cute
