  Very sensible.

Annoying that the meds you needed weren’t there

lol I feel human again after my haircut πŸ˜„

Goodnight and sweet dreams, Moonie and Ros

Hug for any night owlsπŸ€—

I had my β€˜sensible’ head on today

Good job I notice before I left the pharmacy as I wouldn’t have been very pleased to have had to come back down again

It’s hard to feel human in these times so every little helps

Good morning everyone

Sunny and going to be very warm here. May get thunderstorms on Monday through to Thursday. I hope not as that would cause very serious flooding.

Good twirl, Yogi

Well spotted Moonie Last time I went to collect my prescriptions I was told they were'nt ready yet and were being dealy with off-site so a wasted journey. I collected them a few days later. Get mine in advance so wasn't a problem for me.

Squiggle, I hope the mist lifts quickly for you

I hope everyone has a good day

Thanks EI, I had my β€˜sensible brain’ on yesterday

Moonie

Good morning everyone

A high of 27Β° forecast here today. Thunderstorms forecast for Monday and Tuesday

First wash on the line, second wash about to go out

Squiggle, when I see mist mentioned, I always think of the Hound of the Baskervilles. Funnily enough I was listening to a radio version yesterday

Have a great day everyone

Moonie, I'm not surprised you think of The Hound of the Baskervilles when you see mist mentioned. Squiggle need not worry about that as she's many miles from where the legend first arose (the hell hounds of Buckfastleigh).

If you drop the "leigh" El, the hell hounds of Buckfast are located primarily in central Scotland        No tonic.

Sun is shining today for a change, always a good news diversion like yesterday. And we're back to leading on migrants in the face of the latest millions wasted on PPE cronyism which should be the lead story - so much  for TV news. And a widespread virus that's going nowhere

Anyway, have a great day ye all and hope all are well        And stay that way!

They are despicable, aren’t they El?
My council tax was payed before the end of April

They are despicable

The amount shown in the emails I got were the same as above - Β£385.50.
I was suspicious as the emails were sent to my hotmail email account which I only use if there's a problem with the virgin media one. Also it had a reference which was different to the true reference. Also why would the refund go to a debit or credit card when I pay by monthly direct debit so the council has my bank details. Also other than state pension I'm not getting any state benefits. Also I'm just suspicious of anything like that

It’s a good job you are well up on that sort of scam for you and all our sakes El

Morning all

Hope all are enjoying the weather down south. Bit more cloud today up here but still sunny. Remember this is our holiday in Tuscany, the Dordogne or Malta in my case (weekend) so take it in - and there's no quarantine going to the fridge. No sympathy for that lot.

Running out of Midsomers and Veras. Brenda's Geordie isn't the best but still loikes it. Funny lady she is though. Hope everyone else is finding something - we certainly need it.

Stick in troops and have a good one

 Good morning Velvet

I love Vera. One of the best ever series on television

I have to say I am a great fan of Midsomer too

You take care of yourself

Re the thunderstorms El, the recreation ground at the bottom of my garden is a mass of browned grass. It was cut several days ago by my council and is in need of some rain. Though I’m not sure the storms are the answer

My garden lawns aren’t a pretty sight either

Although there's been very little rain here in nearly 2 weeks, there was a lot of rain before then so the grass in this area isn't as dried out as your area
