Good evening all

We’ve had a rainy day.

lol at Moonie and El, our weathermen

My late MiL’s claim to fame was, she almost knocked down the weatherman Michael Fish when she was in London. TBH, she was the world’s worst driver and it was an absolute miracle she never knocked down anyone.

Velvet, do you remember when PB was a tiny toddler and she loved Sean Batty? I reminded her of it recently and she looked at me like I was mad. Good to know her taste has improved as she has gotten older.πŸ˜‚

Hope you’ve all had a good day

As an aside, when he did the Hogmany Show you knew it was time to emigrate. Health insurance is the new Catch-22 though. I hate STV

Sun's out, birds are out and I'm headed back to bed with Nick Ferrari. A case of knowing the opposition.

Have a good one troops

Thanks Moonie I'm dealing with the client I mentioned some weeks ago as being in trouble. I cannot go into any details though the client has accepted what I'm doing. It's a matter of the client being somewhat negligent rather than anything illegal.

Your welcome El

Re your client, I know your work is confidential

Its a good job you are around for your clients

I have the World Snooker championship from Sheffield on the television. There is an audience but obviously not the usual  amount of people. Some are socially distanced, some aren’t. Some have masks on, some don’t

Moonie

Frank Warren is another promoter that is only thinking of his pocket Moons. Dubois/Joyce won't happen in Oct he says unless there's a full crowd allowed. What planet are they on? And O'Sullivan was pretty critical of the snooker World Champs citing Hamilton's asthma. But that's Hearn.

The whole attitude is hard to get your head around.

To right Velvet

You stay safe mate

It's been rather hot here today. It's clouded over now and is getting cooler around 29 Β° at this time and the downward trend is continuing.

The very local weather recording station (about a mile from me and isn't an official one) has this

Highest heat index36.7Β°C14:44, Jul 31 2020

The record for England is 38.7Β° That was at Cambridge last year on 25 July. The local weather recording station had 37.8Β° for that day.

I’m glad to say we can’t beat that El

Evening all

It has been sunny, then cloudy, then sunny again. Very muggy and we’ve had two thunderstorms since teatime.

Velvet, I don’t know what PB thinks of John MacKay but she makes her opinions known on Donald Trump

I hope you’ve all managed to stay cool during this heat.

Moonie, Mr Y watched some of the snooker and I couldn’t believe the audience were sitting in such close proximity to each other - especially as there were loads of empty seats!
El, your client is lucky to have you to sort out the mess.

Hi Yogi

There was an announcement during an ad break that as of tomorrow no spectators are to be allowed into the tournament. A little to late imo. Sheer madness

Moonie

Some might remember a while ago when talking about a vaccine for Covid 19 I said I would prefer a gun to taking the vaccine.  That might sound odd but I was deadly serious.  This is a lighthearted thread and so I have thought deeply about making this post.  I am going to post a video sermon from a man I have mentioned before, a man I really respect.  Please please take the time to listen to it, it's only 30 odd minutes long.  I believe that the life we knew before is never coming back.  I believe we are living in the end times and I would be remiss in my duty to you all as a little group (and I believe as a wider forum group) if I didn't make you aware of the seriousness of this situation we are living through and have been for several months now.

I don't know when God will act but I am confident that He will, at some time in the near future.  For the sake of the ones that you love please learn a little from this man of God.  And I would really recommend that you follow his sermons from now on as the situation unfolds.  There are some very evil people jerking the strings and they fully intend to alter the DNA of those who will willingly take the vaccine.  If you have read your bible in the past you will remember about taking the mark and not being able to buy or sell unless you have the mark.  The mark of Satan. Once you agree to it there will be no going back.  I don't say that taking the vaccine will be the mark of the beast but I do think it may well be the first step.  I know that some will take heed and many will laugh, I don't mind that, I only reach out in order to try to bring some knowledge that may otherwise not cross your path.  I am happy to try and answer any questions, I'm no expert but I suppose I can try. God bless.

Good afternoon all

A mixture of sunny and cloudy spells today. Mild but not hot.

El, was that person who called attempting to influence your work? Your client ought to be pleased they have an honest accountant who can deal with their negligence.
Moonie, I was glad to hear there would be no audience at the snooker today but, as you say, too little too late.

Mr Y and I reorganised the outside and inside freezers and made a list of contents.Yogi’s Cafe has been closed during shielding so we haven’t used half as much food as usual.
Summer, I hope you are having a good day and not rushed off your feet at work.

Have a good day and stay safe, everyone

Good afternoon Yogi

Iβ€˜m glad too. I don’t understand why it was even considered in the first place

Well done to you and Mr Yogi. A sterling job

I know two little darlings who will be pleased when Yogi’s Cafe reopens

Have a great day yourself

Moonie

Yogi, no, the person "B" who rang me had been told by "A" (the person I had been dealing with) that I had told "A" that I needed to speak with "B" as a matter of urgency. That was not the case. I had told "A" that he needed to tell "B" as a matter of urgency of what I had found if he hadn't done so already.

I hope you haven't found too much food which will need to eaten straight away or disposed of

Agreed Moonie, it was madness to have an audience in the first place.

The tiddlers have already put in their food orders for Tuesday

Understood El. I can see why you said you could do without that call.

I’m pleased to say, there was very little food waste.
