Thanks El

There’s always someone trying to make a quick buck

A year or so ago I was walking down a road with some shopping. On the other side of the road I saw a woman at her door having words with someone who probably was one of those Nottingham Knockers. A couple of houses along was an elderly man standing at his door. I think the woman had been concerned about that man which is why she was having words. There was another Nottingham Knocker man close by. A suspicious looking man and when he saw me said something about a misunderstanding. The woman seemed fine and so I didn'y get involved as that could easily made things worse.

Re the current H&M advert:

Very very odd choice of music. One of the most famous pieces of music written by Ennio Morricone, suffuiciently famous that people who had never seen "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" would know it.. And the scene with the music involves Eli Wallach playing Tuco who is the ugly reference in the title

Good morning everyone

Its set to rain here most of today and tomorrow...however, I have shopped but tried three local shops and can’t get a postage stamp

Maybe someone is panic buying

Have a good day everyone

Moonie, you can get stamps from the Royal Mail online shop:
https://shop.royalmail.com/pos...-second-class-stamps

I've just been cutting the grass as it needed it and the forecast is poor in my area as well - tomorrow could be a washout. Needless to say, the England v West Indies cricket test match is supposed to start then
