Looks as if Virgin Media have been playing about with their email browser this morning so if you sign in, it may look a bit different. At present on the log in, there's identity.virginmedia.com shown under your email address. I've just clicked on my email address and ignored the identity bit.
For those interested in such things. BBC article about how the heatwave in Wales in 2018 has revealed from aerial photographs the existence of previously unknown Roman forts and roads there:

Daniel Boyle is a television writer who wrote various episodes of Inspector Morse.
He also wrote episodes of Hamish Macbeth which starred Robert Carlyle.
The much better known Danny Boyle, the director, before he made films (some starring Robert Carlyle) did direct a couple of episodes of Inspector Morse.
It seems that they are different people thoug, not surprisingly, the two have been confused
A Chinese car battery-maker is claiming to be ready to manufacture a product capable of powering a vehicle for 2 million kilometres (1.2 million miles):

Apart from anything else, can't be many cars which last that long.
Evening troops
Hope all are okay. Good to see squiggs back - hope all is well No such thing as a slow news day now is there?
El, I hope all is well with you and you are reasonably busy down there and suitably distracted for a good few hours.
Remembered that Volvo P1800 that cracked a million years ago. See it's on 3.2 now. Maybe we should all have one of them - with a caravan to tow the battery.
Yogi
Have a good evening all and stay alert if you are rioting
All's well here Velvet and reasonably busy
I should think the Volvo P1800 has the world record

Good morning everyone it's a little overcast this morning and this is supposed to be the last dry day for a bit. Still we certainly need more rain, the rainfall level for May was ridiculously low. They were saying on the news that so far this month we've had as much rain as in the whole of May!
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning everyone
Cloudy here. As Squiggle says, this is the last dry day in this part of the country for now.
I hope everyone has a good day
@El Loro posted:There's nearly 5 million self employed people in the country, Moonie, Although not all of them would qualify for a claim, not everyone who qualifies will claim. For instance I would qualify but my income hasn't been wrecked in the way that it has for many so it would be wrong for me to claim.
I don't know how many will claim but it's likely to be over a million so 110,000 so far isn't that surprising to me
Latest figure of the number of self employed people who have made claims under the income support scheme is 2.6 million.
Number of employees where they've been furloughed is just under 9 million (that will include people who have gone back to work so are no longer furloughed.
Good afternoon everyone
Sunny but cool here. Still dry though. However, rain is expected off and on for the next few days
The back lawns are still in need of some rain
Yogi, I hope you have finished your housework and ironing now
Have a great day everyone. Stay safe

Afternoon all
Signed in last night and had to sign back out again as I had a bit of a tummy bug. Feel better today.
Good to see you pop in, Velvet
Moonie, I did get the housework and ironing done
Got some washing dried on the line before the rain appeared this afternoon.
Have a good day and stay safe.

You are correct. Apologise for that El
In football Leagues 1 and 2 have finally voted to end the seasons. Promotions, relegations and play offs go ahead.
So as far as Cheltenham Town is concerned they are in the play offs against Northampton Town. The other play offs are between Exeter City and Colchester United. The winners of those meet in a final play off with the winner being promoted to League One.
Doesn't affect the play offs but there is a question over the team being relegated from League. At present it's Stevenage. But Macclesfield, the team above them is facing further charges for misconduct by the football authorities. They've already has two sets of points deducted during the season relating to non-paymenr of wages and failing to play matches. Until that's resolved, the question of which team is relegated remains.

Tucked away in the BBC iplayer films available to watch is the 1938 film "Bringing Up Baby" (Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant).
https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0078ddk/
One of the funniest films ever made. It'a available on iPlayer for over a year.
IMDB's trivia page on the film is very interesting though better to have seen the film first to avoid any spoilers:

Good morning everyone
Cloudy here, has been a bit of rain already and more is forecast for today and for several days ahead.
Two clients dropping off their papers during today. The system I've been using for this seems to be working as I intended and clients have been accepting this.
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning light rain here, and Iâm feeling fresh!!!! Iâve surrendered my worries and I choose faith instead, I trust that all is how itâs meant to be ðððŧ

Good morning everyone
It rained overnight and is dull and cloudy atm.
Summer, Iâm glad you are happy with your new neighbours.

Good afternoon everyone
Itâs cool and overcast here. Rain promised but none has arrived yet
Good to see we are all in fine fettle today
Have a great day everyone but as always, stay safe
Fine fettle? I'm fighting total disillusionment here Sometimes it sinks in. The country is a deceitful mess and completely rudderless
Anyhow, hope all are well. A trip to Midsomer is on the cards for some light relief.
Take care all and have a good afternoon and evening
