@El Loro have you any idea when the old £20 notes go out of circulation and can’t be used?
I have had a look online and it says it’s 6 months after they had been issued but someone told me it wasn’t until 2021 now.

Bank of England haven't yet announced a date. They will give 6 months notice when they do - it's not 6 months after the new notes were issued which would be 20 August. So if they announced a date today, which is unlikely, then that would make it 5 December at the earliest.

I’ve been really busy with worked related things. I’ve been making preparations for reopening, although there’s no set date or guidelines, there are steps we can take to make the necessary changes. It’s draining but empowering at the same time.
I’ve really enjoyed the rain, it’s very welcome here and it’s topping up my water butt nicely

Spoke with my brother on the phone today. He mentioned that he met up with a friend a couple of days ago. Outside of course and was at a place with few people around. Kept the 2 metre distance rule. But it was nice to be able to meet up, the first time since the world changed.

I went to get a glass of water a little while ago and the blackbird was on the kitchen window ledge, looking in the window. I gave him some raisins.
