Good morning everyone

A bright start to the day here. A little breezy but dry. 10% change of rain though.

Thanks El, Yogi and squiggle

Washing already on the line. A couple of items in the washer. Then that’s me done washing wise

El, four live Bundesliga games on today. All behind closed doors. Three on at the same time

Have a great day everyone but as ever, stay safe

Moonie, at least that gives you some football to watch

At M&S this morning, they opened a paycounter for me to pay for my food.  Cashier on the paycounter sat down and throughout the time I was having the food scanned and I was paying she was coughing

Got home and washed face and hands with soap and hot water and disinfected all the food items.

I've reported this to M&S head office for them to investigate.

Good afternoon a deceptive day here, it feels hot in my garden but a cold wind out and about makes uncomfortable walking!

I hope you’re all well and chirpy today, and I’m glad Moonie’s washer is up and running again!

El thank you for the updates, this is so reassuring and helpful. I haven’t claimed yet but I’ll tackle it after lunch, yesterday I wasn’t feeling in the right head space for it. Silly I know, but that’s the nature of anxiety. I’ll do it, wonder what I ever worried about and wish I’d have just done it sooner

No, thank you El I really appreciate your support. I’ve just submitted my claim, and it wasn’t anything to worry about at all and I do wish I’d have done it sooner! It says I should receive the payment within 6 days, that’s fast.
I’ll put 29% aside for tax & NI Contributions I’m very grateful for the help the government has given us, my personal experiences have been smooth and helpful, I cannot fault the system.

Good morning everyone

Quite cloudy here, not expecting rain, a bit warmer than yesterday.

Watched a British 1950 film called "The 20 Questions Murder Mystery". At that time, there was a popular radio programme called "20 Questions" Film included members of the panel who were in that programme but none of them are involved with the murder mystery. Best known member was Richard Dimbleby, famous for Panorama until he died, his sons of course are David and Jonathan.

A watchable film but not exceptional. The editor of the film was Gerald Thomas, his first film, who became the director of the Carry On films.

I hope everyone has a good day

El Loro
