Good afternoon mixed weather here today, I wrapped up in my waterproofs to brave it and ended up baking in the sun lol

how are you all?

thank you El I’ll be trying to log in on Wednesday it looks like I’ll be off longer than anticipated too, the latest news suggests July 4th

Hi Sweet

All is well here fankoo. I hope you and Miss Bramble are too  πŸΎπŸΎ

Good morning all

A bright and chilly start to the day.

I bought a new mindfulness colouring in book to while away some time.

My blackbird hasn’t appeared this year - the one that came to the window for his raisins - but, another male has been visiting the garden and he sings beautifully in the morning and in the evening,

Have a good day and stay safe, everyone.

Good morning overcast here but dry, I’m going for a walk shortly and then going to get stuck in to some paperwork. July 4th sounds so far away right now, it’s hard to not despair!

I’m glad you’re all doing well, yogi your colouring book sounds fabulous- what picture will you be doing next?
I think I need to start a creative project for rainy days, painting in the garden is for better weather

Moonie, I'm glad you've done your shopping safely

When I go to the Co-op for shopping I've used a large cotton handkerchief. It's 40 cm by 40 cm so much larger than most. Fold diagonally, cover bottom of nose and mouth, tie the ends twice at the back of my head. As it's tied twice it doesn't come loose and remains in place without slipping. Remove it when I get home and wash it. Also have a bottle of alcohol based hand sanitiser which I take with me.

Less need to do that at the M&S store at present though that may change when other shops there re-open. That's on the outskirts and so there's no walking along streets.

@~Sparkling Summer~

Just sent this to my clients who may be claiming Universal Credit at present. My institute, the ICAEW, has sent me an email today about this. For those who are claiming, you have to notifiy the Universal Credit people about your income and this would include the self employment income support scheme grant which could therefore impact on the amount of Universal Credit you get. The ICAEW has mentioned that, at this time, there is no deadline as to when to make the claim under the self employment income support scheme. So they say that one could delay making a claim under the self employment income support scheme until you came off Universal Credit.

I can't say when or if there will be a deadline for making self employment income support claims - that would be just speculation. I thought I should make you aware of this before the claim system launches as from tomorrow.
