Yogi, the nicestt jigsaw I've done in recent years was a 500 piece circular one called Grovely Kingfishers by C Newman.

The circular ones are very hard to do

They are hard to do which is why I would stick with 500 piece ones rather than larger ones

I once did a double-sided jigsaw (different picture on the two sides). Although claimed to be harder than a typical jigsaw I found it easier. The pictures were sufficiently different to be able to tell which side belonged to which picture. Then, where it wasn't clear if one piece fitted into another piece on one side, I just turned over the two pieces to see if they fitted on the other side.

That’s very clever El

It's wasn't one of those Impossipuzzle ones - there's a double sided on with just baked beans on one side and brussel sprouts on the other - I would find that just boring

Good morning everyone

A very cloudy day here.

Squiggle, it was a long time ago when I did that double sided jigsaw. I think the pieces fitted well with each other so that they didn't disintegrate when moved. If I needed to check if a piece fitted with another piece I removed the piece previously placed, then checked if the pictures on both sides fitted before putting the piece back along with the new piece if they fitted.

Yogo, I hope your jigsaw is going well

I hope everyone has a good day

El Loro

Good morning my apologies for being awol, I don’t know how I ever found time to go to work! how are you all?

thank you for the advice El, I’ll set aside the taxable amount of the grant- should I say 30% to include national insurance?

I’ve been exercising to DVD’s/you tube sessions to make up for lack of physical activity that I’d normally be doing in my usual daily work, and today I’m stiff lol

~Sparkling Summer~

Good morning everyone

Cloudy here.

Yogi, thanks re trying to help me identify that piece of music

Squiggle, yes, I did join the clapping last evening (and last week) There were quite a lot of us. There's a paramedic who lives just opposite me so we were doing it as much for him as everyone else.

I hope everyone has a good day

Good morning everyone

Showers and light breeze are forecast - dry atm.

Squiggle, I took part in the applause for the NHS this week and last.

Even more neighbours took part this week which was heartwarming to see

El, I’m sure the Paramedic who lives near would appreciate the support from you and your neighbours.

Stay safe, everyone
