night yogi moons summer if you pop in
Good morning everyone it's not quite such heavy cloud this morning. That is a blow Yogi. You know it makes sense but it's still distressing. The little ones will miss you both.
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning everyone
It is a blow, Squiggle, but I really appreciated my DiLâs thoughtfulness. Her mum is in the over 70âs group so she wonât be able to help with the children either.
We rarely go more than a week without seeing the tiddlers so, if this expected lockdown happens, it will be so hard not seeing them for 12 weeks. Better safe than sorry though.
My head has been spinning, trying to think ahead for the probable lockdown.
My dad assures me theyâve had lots of people offer to help if they are isolated so, thatâs a relief. The carers for the complex are based right next door to mum and dad and they have an alert system so I know theyâll have help in an emergency. Weâve also made arrangements for them to get repeat prescriptions delivered etc
Thereâs probably something Iâve forgotten.
Stay safe everyone
Good morning everyone
Very cloudy here and expected to be rainy for most of today and tomorrow. Once that's finished, then the settled weather seems to start.
for Yogi and family and everyone else here
Good morning I hope youâve all had a restful night I had an early night and today Iâm having a long overdue pj day!
yogi I hope youâre able to surrender what you cannot control, and I know that you will have whatever you can control, well organised. Weâre all here to keep you feeling connected during your isolation xxx

Cool, wet and windy here
Hope you all manage to have a decent day
Been to the dentist for the 6 monthly check up and all OK. Dentist taking the obvious precautions of course.
BBC has suspended filming of soaps and other dramas. They will reduce the numbers of epsodes shown each week to keep the episodes already recorded going until they run out. For instance 2 episodes of Eastenders a week rather then 4.
Wow thatâs a big pizza! I love it. And thank you Moonie for making me smile

Now that is a silver lining indeed!!!!! I think soaps have a negative impact on society, and people would do well to watch less of them.
Meanwhile, I hear that an announcement is to be expected in the near future regarding how us self employed people can get some financial assistance following the corona virus fall out. My business and other local ones are currently still open but the streets are empty, there are no customers. Iâm certain to turn a loss this week for the first time ever! One or two weeks would be bad, but weâd survive. Any longer and bankruptcy is almost certain, which is a very strange feeling because Iâve always covered the bills and I donât have debts. I feel pretty calm though, because I know weâre all in it together x
Summer, you aren't alone
There will be some help to businesses :

That page does change from time to time so it's worth making a note of that link.

Ordered my payroll software and my accounts & tax software. Doing it earlier than normal. Won't be using either for some weeks but at least that's organised.
Can't comment on my clients though I'm aware of a couple with a child who could find their living circumstances changed drastically.

Good forward planning El
I am watching a television program called Ultimate Movers. They are moving several dinosaurs including a T-Rex to a zoo. They are full size and made of...Lego ðŪ
The dinosaurs are beautiful colours. A liberty I guess but they are gorgeous
Thank you El, thatâs helpful. Iâve had an email from my accountant too, with some local authority help too. I should be getting a ÂĢ10k grant because Iâm under the business rates relief scheme, which is a huge relief. Paying my staff is my priority, so that will keep us surviving a while

That's reassuring to know
Love the giant pizza.

Thanks for that link El, Iâve passed it on to my middle son
Moonie, BB would love the giant Lego dinosaurs
Thanks for the company tonight, Ros

Good morning everyone it's a little cloudy this morning. I do hope we get the calmer weather finally next week. I'm glad it's looking financially less bleak for you Summer.
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning everyone
Very cloudy and rainy all day here, hopefully drier tomorrow.
I hope everyone is able to have a good day
Good morning everyone
Itâs dry but cool and breezy. However, a lot of rain is expected later.
i hope you are all able to have a good day
Good morning Moonie
The rain has set in for the day here. Although the band of rain isn't huge, it's just staying here until it peters out
"Peters out" is an old American phrase possibly from the time of the mining gold rush. It may refer to the prospectors using salt petre as explosive so if they ran out they couldn't continue.
Good morning everyone.
Dry and bright here atm
El, I didnât know the origin of âPeterâs outâ - I like learning something new.
Have a good day, all

I didn't know the origin either until I looked into it
I hope you have a nice happy birthday today

Hi El
Like Yogi, I didnât know the origin of âPeters ourâ either, so you have taught us both something new today
