Moonie, the forecast for my area seems to have improved as the Met Office warnings have changed so that it looks as if the worst effects of Storm Jorge just miss here. Still breezy but a lower chance of damaging gusts. Doesn't seem to be any further fence damage overnight.

Hopefully, you'll find some football to watch

Hi everyone

Weather is dry and cold.

El, I’m glad there was no further damage to your fence

Moonie, you have yourself a football fest to look forward to

Squiggle, the engineer replaced the downstairs TiVo box. He said, as it was 8 years old and playing up, it was time for an upgrade.

Aww, did Mr Squiggle celebrate his birthday on the 28th on non leap years?

Have a good day, all.

Yogi, I hope your parental visit is going well and that your son doesn't climb on to the chairs and furniture when he visits When I was young, a boy from school was visiting and did just that - my mother wasn't happy and he was never invited again.

Back from church, cold out there, was sunny and I was able to avoid a passing shower

Well done on avoiding that shower

Moonie

Good morning everyone

Sunny here but showers possible.

Yogi, i hope you have a good sleepover with the tiddlers

Squiggle, some leap year people have their birthdays on the 28th, some on March 1, and some only get holidays when it's a leap year. Someone born on 29 February 1896  wouldn't get a birthday until 29 February 1904 as 1900 wasn't a leap year. From a legal point in England and Wales, the birthday is on March 1.

I hope everyone has a good day

El Loro
