Yogi, I wonder what's going on with your Vitgin boxes - it wouldn't surprise me if the new issue is due to the way that the first one was sorted out, I hope the engineer sorts this out for you
No snow here, rain has stopped and it's now sunny.

Have a good day, all
Thanks Moonie
Been out, wind coming from the north west making the temperature feel like 3C.
More very bad stormy weather coming this weekend so more fence damage likely,

Good sunny, cold afternoon Iâve emerged from my pancake hangover! I managed a whopping 12 pancakes last night, my new personal best and one that I have no intentions of trying to beat
yogi, we are currently in a mercury retrograde phase, which could explain why your electronics are malfunctioning!

The weekend storm has been named Storm Jorge - it affects Spain before this country amd the Spanish equivalent of the Met Office named it.
Summer, that's rather a lot of pancakes
The planet Mercury appears to move in the opposite direction to normal three or four times a year. That has been referred to as a Mercury Retrograde phase by astrologers rather than astronomers who call it an apparent retrograde motion. Some have blamed this for causing all sorts of things including electronic malfunctions.
Actually all the other planets have apparent retrograde motions. The Mercury one gets commented on more than the others possibly because the Roman deity of that name was the messenger of the gods so gets linked with communication.

what are you all doing this weekend?
El, did you have birthday cake?
Summer, I got myself a pack of 2 banoffee cupcakes, had one yesterday and will have the other this evening. Thoroughly unheallthy but it's not as if I have cake like that very often
I hope you aren't suffering from a surfeit of pancakes
Hasn't stopped raining here all day, set to continue for many hours.

Good morning everyone, needless to say it's wet and windy again. Oh my! 12 pancakes Summer that's amazing! I'm glad you had a good birthday EL. It would have been my husband's 20th birthday today, he was a Leap Year baby. That was a good idea Moonie, you don't want to be waiting around for buses in this weather. I hope they can fix your TiVo box this time Yogi.
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning everyone
Still raining here and quite windy.
Thanks Yogi and Squiggle
Squiggle, I was almost a leap year baby as well - would still have been in senior school.
I hope everyone has a good day
