Moonie, Met Office think that the weather will be a lot more settled by the middle of March for areas other than the north. I think this weather is draining people so it's not surprising you seem to be getting one thing after another. I hope you start feeling better soon and get out and about

Hubby and I were out and about and there are several local roads which are flooded. We wanted to go to a big Toystore in Paisley and had to go on a detour via the motorway.

Very very windy last night here with fence panels down or damaged - only sorted out a few weeks ago. Expected to remain windy for the next 3 days.
Met Office say that between the 26th and March 6th:
"There is an increased chance of deep low pressure systems affecting somewhere in the UK, causing large amounts of rainfall and very strong winds. "
So more named storms expected anywhere.

Cheltenham Town beat Mansfield this afternoon 1-0. Result means that Cheltenham has the same number of points they got in the whole of the 2018/19 season with 13 games left of the season. Also it's now mathematically impossible to them to be relegated not that that was ever likely this season.

Weather here is the same as for Squiggle. BBC weather pages showing unsettled weather to 5th March then settled weather for 6th to 8th (doesn't go further) - that's for my area but there are signs that it's improving at least for the southern part of the country.
