Good morning everyone

Forecast is light rain and moderate breeze.

Love the animal pics, El.

We had a busy Boxing Day, with lots of laughter. The tiddlers got a big tub of fake snowballs as one of their gifts - cue a very raucous snowball fight, with the adults joining in and the angel being knocked off the tree.🙈 Everyone had such fun that the adults have requested the tiddlers bring back the fake snowballs on New Year’s Day so there can be a rematch.

Have a good day, all.

Yogi, I'm glad you had a great time with the tiddlers

Talking of fake snowballs reminded me of this scene from Buster Keaton's film Seven Chances:

When first making the chase sequence Buster Keaton did accidentally cause some small rocks to start tumbling after him. So he redid the scene on a bigger scale using paper-mÃĒchÃĐ rocks.

That’s absolutely fantastic Yogi

I've been on a tour of the area I used to live in many years ago, courtesy of Google maps The house is still there though seems to have an extension built at the back as there's now no garden. The shops in the area seem to have either changed to other shops or in some cases knocked down to make some parking spaces. The infant and junior school I went to still exists but in a different location. The buildings where they were are still there but is now used as a Muslim secondary school for girls. The church at what was Barton gates is still there but ceased to be used as a church years ago (not the church I went to which is still used as a church).

I only looked as Moonie needed to check if his bank and church were still there I've no intention of actually going there.

Nice to know that your bank and park are still there and haven't vanished over Christmas

Definitely a turn for the better, weather wise, for now El
