Good morning everyone
Very cloudy here and rain seems likely.
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone
Weather is rainy and dreich.
I need to go to the Post Office today so fingers crossed the queue isnât too long.ðĪðŧ
Have a good day, all
Yogi, I hope your Post Office queue isn't too long - tomorrow is the last posting date for second class post so today shouldn't be as bad as tomorrow.
Morning troops
That comes from the centre of North Lanarkshire. The most corrupt council in Britain. Still...I like a laugh
Yogi knows
I'll give you an example. John Reid MP gave the owner of M&D's (theme park) a reference after one of his lorrys killed someone in Carlisle. Then I knew. I think he got off.
Morning Guv
Good frosty afternoon! Itâs a glorious day here
Iâm glad all is well with everyone
yogi- 8 sleeps is so scary!!!! Itâs going so fast Iâm at risk of having it pass me by lol
I went to my last Xmas meal last night, now itâs just a xmas jumper yoga class and a visit to an old folks home to do...
Summer, no sign of any frost here, not even first thing in the morning
Talking of Christmas jumpers, besides that M&S advert I mentioned recently:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IH7Htz_oY3Q
they also have a pyjamas one:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bh2GzDJpobs
There are similarities between them.
Lol I appreciate the originality of those adverts, itâs good to see something different, but that is a little a bit creepy I hope my clothes behave themselves
Evening all
PO queue wasnât too bad and the tiddlers were on good form.
lol It seems Iâm the only one who likes the M&S ads

Good morning everyone we have a severe weather warning for high winds again. Those M&S ads are definitely creepy, wonder who thought those up.
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning everyone.
Showers and breeze are forecast.
Squiggle, I hope you donât need to go out in those strong winds
I have some errands to run today.
Have a good day, all.
Good morning everyone
Was foggy last night here, that lifted overnight and it's now quite cold with some frost. Won't last as it's forecast to be a bit warmer, wet and windy by late afternoon.
Squiggle, I hope those strong winds don't cause structural problems
Yogi, I hope those errands go well
One, possibly two client meetings today, both straightforward.
I hope everyone has a good day
I'm back from the first client meeting. I walked there as it was about 1.4 miles away and it wouldn't have saved much time by driving as the car windows were iced up.
Haven't heard from the second client, he may arrive in the next hour or leave it until tomorrow.
Afternoon troops
Good that you are keeping busy El. Long may it continue.
Hope all errands run well Yogi Moons is awol - better be alright, West Brom are up. squiggs, I hope you're grandsons are looking after you. Nice part of Britain
Weather forecasts for this part of the country are appalling with Met Office expecting 30mm to 50mm of rain from later this afternoon through to Friday morning. Given that the ground is saturated this will lead to flooding, quite possibly the most serious test of the flood defences since July 2007.
Don't make the mistake of thinking that BBC's A Christmas Carol will be anything like any version you have seen before. The producer previously made the series Taboo and Peaky Blinders and it appears that this version will be much closer to those.
Evening all
Had to go pick up PB from her Afterschool as sheâd had a fall and hurt her mouth. Sheâs a bit bruised and has a fat lip but is doing fine after some TLC from Granny and Grandad

Oh nooooo poor PB!!!! I hope sheâs alright yogi, I bet she was very happy to see you!
*night owls* itâs a Christmas miracle- Iâve spent the evening at home! I made some soup and had a very long hot bath, itâs been lovely.
I hope youâre all warm, dry and cosy. Sweet dreams
night yogi and summer

Good morning everyone it's a wet and windy morning and not forecast to get any better for days.
I hope PB is feeling better this morning after her fall. I'm sure she was so pleased to be comforted by Granny and Grandad. Sounds like a lovely relaxing evening Summer.
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning everyone
At present it's not raining but the forecast shows that there are more bands of rain. Not quite as windy as it was.
I hope PB is feeling better this morning
Squiggle, I hope the weather in your area doesn't cause big problems
Client popping in sometime this morning.
I hope eevryone has a good day
Good morning all
Weather is dreich and looks like rain is on the way.
Thanks everyone. PB has gone to school this morning, sporting a bruise on her chin and a fat lip but she is absolutely fine.
I hope everyone has a good day.

Next band of rain has started here. Forecast is for another band starting later this evening and going on well into tomorrow, then dry Friday night into Saturday, then another band of rain later on Saturday. Can't tell how much rain here as the very local weather recording site seems to have broken down - no data since yesterday morning.
