Walked to the local Co-op as it's sunny here. Breezy though nothing like it was overnight in parts of the country.

Good afternoon Summer I grabbed a little mince pie last week. Although small, it was rather nice.

I got a couple of freshly baked M&S eccles cakes at the weekend. I suggested a Christmasssy version using mincemeat in place of currants.

I did, Summer. I had a different stylist today and really liked how she cut my hair - and she had a very gentle touch. I’ll be asking for her in future.

For anyone who has watched NCIS or the spin off series on Channel 5/Five USA, Channel 5 said a few weeks ago that they won't be showing any new series of any of those. The episodes now shown are repeats.

If I were to choose the best episode of any of them it would probably be episode 13 of the 14th series of NCIS called "Keep Going".

Terrible weather - strong winds and heavy rain which has caused quite a bit of flooding.
My Christmas tree is up and the tiddlers decorated it. They made a very good job of it.

Good morning everyone it's a little less windy this morning but still raining quite hard. I hope everyone is OK, it was pretty intense here yesterday. I will have to check on my recycling cardboard bag. I saw it blowing past the window yesterday but it was tipping it down. It was empty because the recycling truck had already been.

Got a phone call from someone wanting me to advertise in a local pub/hotel. I don't do that form of advertising. The caller was either incompetent or a scammer. He said the name of the pub/hotel and where it was. Only trouble was that any local person would know that it's not where he said it was. He got two Beefeater inns mixed up

Good morning everyone it's a lot calmer so far this morning. I've lost track of what the weather is doing, it just seems a blur of strong winds and heavy rain. They've had to close a road near the hospital as a huge pine tree has a drooping branch hanging over the road.

I found my recycling bag, in the  pond. It had to go three quarters around the house to get there!
