Good morning frosty, blue sky and sunshine here today! Hurrah!!!!! The last week has been wet. I too hope the break in the rain will give the flooded area a chance to recede.

i wonder if yogi is coming back with cake?

el, how was your weekend with your brother?

Nothing on my β€˜cake radar’ as yet Sweet

Moonie

Thanks Moonie

Summer, no, my brother isn't coming here over Christmas, he'll come some time in January depending on the weather. He's reliant on public transport and the train services at Christmas time are not good. That's when the train companies do their engineering work. Part of that is down to Crossrail being delayed over and over again. It's must less stressful for my brother to travel in the New Year. He generally makes arrangements to spend Christmas Day with one of his closest friends who lives fairly close to him. It's not an option for me to go to him as I have church commitments, I have the computer games we play, he doesn't, his house is much smaller than mine so it would be sleeping bag, I drive, he doesn't, so that makes it easier for me to to food shopping than for him, and I have a gas cooker whereas his is a small electric one so my food cooks better than his, he has night storage heating which means that his house is warmer at nighttime than in the day. I rest my case

A well presented case, El

I don't know what it will be like but there's a new detective series starting on BBC One next Monday at 2.15 pm called The Mallorca Files. In the first of ten episodes British police officer DC Miranda Blake is reluctantly paired with wise-cracking German detective Max Winter to investigate a criminal gang based in Mallorca. It's not by the production company which makes Father Brown and Shaekespeare & Hathaway.

A second series of The Mallorca Files has alreadt been commissioned by the BBC.

Sounds good EL.

Deia and Banyalbufar are two of my favourite places in the planet. Fingers crossed we see them

Hi Moonie

It was frosty here over night here as well. It clouded over though this morning. No fog though there had been a weather warning for that.

I walked to do my local shopping. I say "Good morning" to people as I walk by and they say "Good morning" in reply. I've noticed that it's generally me who says that first rather than at the same time or them first. (I'm not including people that I know).

Hi, El

It was white all over here by 9-30 last night

No fog here either

Moonie

Evening all.

Very frosty day - it stayed until rain started around teatime.

It was a tiddler day and they were on very good form

El, I find Mr Y and I are usually the first people to say good morning too - maybe we three are more sociable than most

Summer, I hope you enjoyed the frosty day.

I hope everyone was able to stay warm and cosy

Yogi19

Good morning everyone

Mainly cloudy here and hopefully remaining dry. The cloud cover means no frost overnight.

Yogi, I'm glad you had a good day with the tiddlers

People may be reluctant to say "Good morning" to me before I say that as I generally wear a black hooded cape and am holding a scythe

I hope everyone has a good day
