The Mayflower Autonomous Ship will leave Plymouth in the UK next year to mark the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower of history.

It's autonomous as there won't be anyone on board.

There are two clips in that BBC article, the second one is more interesting than the first.

A Mary Celeste

Not really, it's being sailed controlled by computers - IBM are involved with the project.

Good morning everyone

Sunny start to the day here, some showers forecast for later and more tomorrow - nothing to suggest that it will be a lot of rain so hopefully Squiggle's won't be too bad

I've been using a cloud portal (made for accountants to use) for a few years which has been free but they've now decided to charge for it. I've little choice but to accept it as I use it to send and receive documents to and from clients. They sent me a contract to sign online late yesterday afternoon. Only trouble is that the contract is showing the wrong address - that of another accountant hundreds of miles away in North Yorkshire, So I'm having to get that sorted out.

I hope everyone has a good day

Thanks Moonie

I've sent an email to the person who sent me the incorrect contract to sign. I'm waiting to hear back from him.

I hope you get the correct contract back soon and its sorted

Shopping done

Yes, I've just received the corrected contract and have just signed it online. Never signed something like that electronically before - although I could have changed the default signature it looked quite like mine anyway

I hope you avoided the rain doing your shopping It's still a sunny day here though not that warm outside.

Just taken envelopes with those institute cards with covering letter to clients to the post office and bought another sheet of first class stamps as I had just about run out of them. On the way I met a client who was on the way to my house to drop off some papers so that saved him some walking. He's recovering from a minor leg surgery a couple of weeks ago and today was the first time he's been out since then. He hopes to go back to work next week.

Michelangelo Antonioni's 1995 film "Beyond the Clouds" was an art-house film which was, frankly, pretentious and I'm not recommending it to anyone. A collection of 4 stories linked together by a story directed by Wim Wenders.

The only reason for mentioning it is the 4th story. A man sees a woman, falls in love with her, gets to know her as they walk along. But his love for her is to no avail as at the end she tells him that it can never be - she is going to become a nun. The woman is played by IrÃĻne Jacobs, who is Swiss-French.

It's a pity that this section of the film couldn't be released just as a short as IrÃĻne Jacobs in that section is possibly the most beautiful woman in any film made. Although the film gets an 18 certificate, her section would definitely get a U certificate.

Here's part of that section. It's not in English but you can still sense what's going on.

As well as the Jeremiah Clarke piece of music was one from Wagner's opera Lohengrin.

Here's the complete opera (in German):

As it's over 3 and a half hours long, I suggest listening to:

the opening prelude to Act 1 which is at the beginning as it's a beautiful piece of music

the opening prelude to Act 3 (2 hours 28 minutes in) which is another well known piece of music which is immediately followed
the most famous piece Wagner wrote (you might not have known it was by him and although his Ride of the Valkeries is as famous this piece has been played far more often)
