A wet night here, some sunshine at present, heavy showers today and tomorrow. As Squiggle says, the wind speed starts increasing later today, peak seems to be Saturday afternoon (gusts just under 50 mph) and reducing over Sunday.
Client coming to see me very soon this morning for a straightforward meeting.

Good morning, I thought I’d checked in here last night 
what have I been doing?! Lol I must have been in the bath much longer than planned.
i hope you all slept well it’s raining heavily here, which means a puddle splashing walk with Bramble- hurrah!!!!! No worries about heat stroke today

Oh lots of splashing up here! One minute it’s a thunderstorm and the next it’s sunny & hot again!
Little surprise that England has dropped Moeen Ali from the next test match against Smithralia. Although he has been a good allrounder his confidence at this time is non-existent. He's been replaced by Jack Leach who was the standout for England in their match against Ireland where he was sent in as the night watchman (very near the end of a day's play) and the following day went on to score 92.
