On the news today, the discovery of the fossil of a new species of parrot which was about a yard tall. It's been named Heracles inexpectatus.

Almost certainly life on the Moon thanks to an Israeli spacecraft which crashed in April which was carrying what are called water bears.
This was on the BBC local news just now. It's about some colour film from the 1930s about life in Great Rissington. That's in Gloucestershire near the Oxfordshire border. It's between Bourton on the Water and Burford.

Not much happening. Just conversation in the best of company going over family and the past.
Quite a lot of auction programmes on tv. Can't beat the excitement of the real thing. The good old days

Never been to an auction. Closest was years ago at the local church fete when they were holding a min auction. Bid and got a print called "The Great Race". Shows a steam train "Criccieth Castle number 5026". Used to be a passenger train in the days of steam then became a goods train. Rescued from the scrap year and restored. So a very atmospheric picture. It was a limited edition print, so limited that I can't find any online.
Love vintage Bentley's. Quite a lot are Frankenstein's though. Stanley Mann was the go to.

Could never really get Hastings' car in Poirot. That was tasty.

Weather was a mix of sunshine and showers
Mr Y and I were out and about and managed to miss all but one of the showers
El, that parrot was huge!

it’s been hot & sunny here today, so just a gentle, late walk in the shade of woodland. But I have had a fabulous day that fully embraced my introvert nature I’ve read, bathed, pottered and created a huge vision board! (Something that I’ve been “meaning to do” for a long time)
