night yogi twickers moons summer
Good morning everyone it's another beautiful breezy morning. I'm glad it's warmed up Summer and Twickers, just hope it doesn't stay too hot now. I hope the move goes smoothly and your parents will settle down happily in their new home Yogi.
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning everyone
Sunny and getting warmer here - tomorrow is forecast to be hot but temperature drops by Sunday.
Yogi, I hope all goes well with the move today
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning Buddies
Its sunny here. Expected high 25 degrees
I have just looked at tomorrowâs expected high and itâs 30 degrees here
Have a great day everyone and keep well hydrated
Good morning heat wavers itâs getting out hot here already. I hope you southern buddies can keep cool & hydrated
Moonie, for my location tomorrow is now showing as 31 (Sunday back down to 21 so will feel cold in comparison)
Moonie and Summer, good advice to keep hydrated today and even more so tomorrow

One good thing is you can get the washing done and dried within two hours. Beds the lot. As Moons will know
Don't think it's lasting here but hope it does down South. Light is good.
Have a good day ye all

Hi Twickers
I did all my washing yesterday. All dry within a few hours so nothing significant to wash today
I hope all is well in your world my friend

Likewise Moonie
Carpentras in France - currently 43 C

I've never been to the Middle East El but I've been to West Africa. That was hot.
The hottest place I've ever been was the Blue Lagoon in Malta @ 2000. Wipe out.
Deffo 40's. Beats our 76.
Twickers, I'm not surprised it was hot in West Africa. Never been to Cyprus but people at my church have been there over the years (there used to be a RAF base fairly close to my area and they would have been stationed at the RAF in Cyprus) - they said they were used to being in hot conditions,

Yep El. The Med can hit high numbers
I'll always remember '76 domestically. Actually, last year might have beaten that where you are.
Spelling's all over the place
Twickers, on 3 August 1990, the temperature in Cheltenham reached 37.1 C That was the UK record for over 10 years until 10 August 2003 when Faversham reached 38.5 C.

Evening all.
We have survived the house move.
Still some smaller things to move down to the new house but Dad wants to do that at his leisure, over the next few days.
I hope youâve all had a good day and it hasnât been too hot for any of you.
Good stuff Yogi
El, I see a new phrase has arisen in football *game management*
To me, game management = time wasting = cheating
Just thought I would throw that into the melting pot

Goodnight and sweet dreams, Ros, Twickers and Moonie
Night owl hug for Summer
Noite Yogi et al
Thanks yogi night owl in the house! I hope all went smoothly today with the move
a smooth day here, very sunny and everyoneâs in good spirits I was supposed to be at the beach on Sunday but if the heatwave continues, I think it a bad idea (for the dogs)!
I hope youâre all cool, well and happy. Sweet dreams

Good morning everyone
Going to be a hot day here - 31 forecast.
Summer, I think you will find that the temperature drops back down by tomorrow to a high of 20 so it may be OK for the dogs.
Yogi, I'm glad you and your parents have survived yesterday's move
Moonie, I know what you mean by "game management". I thought though that, if it becomes obvious time wasting, injury time is increased to compensate.
I hope everyone has a good day and stays hydrated
Good morning everyone it's a nice cool morning, trying to sleep was a little uncomfortable so I hope everyone managed to sleep OK.
I'm glad the move went well Yogi, your Dad will be able to take his time now. I'm ready for some cooler weather now how about everyone else?
Enjoy your day everyone
Squiggle, I was able to sleep OK - I took off the thick duvet and just had the cotton sheet - it's an Egyptian cotton one so good in hot weather.
Good morning Buddies
Its hot out there already. Just been up the park for a quick visit and it was a quick too. All okay there
Saw an angler up there. He only had shorts and a t-shirt on
He wasnât even in the shade
What an idiot
Have a great but as always in this hot weather, stay hydrated
Just been delivering the July church magazines for my round. Warm at present around 22 rather than later when it could get to 32 and the UV currently 6 though later it peaks at 8.
When I was up the park earlier I saw a man pushing a bike. In the rack for storing liquids on the frame was......a can of lager
Saw a few minutes of a very minor western called Panhandle (1948).
Of interest only is the man on the right, a minor actor, also co-wrote and co-produced the film, his first time behind the scenes work. Blake Edwards much better known for his later films notably Breakfast at Tiffany's and the Pink Pnather films.
A little poser. Suppose the low temperature on a day is about 16 C and the high is about 28 C, what's unusual about that?

One of my clients mentioned it to me the other day - it's nothing to do with tax
