I did all my washing yesterday. All dry within a few hours so nothing significant to wash today

I've never been to the Middle East El but I've been to West Africa. That was hot.
The hottest place I've ever been was the Blue Lagoon in Malta @ 2000. Wipe out.
Deffo 40's. Beats our 76.
Twickers, I'm not surprised it was hot in West Africa. Never been to Cyprus but people at my church have been there over the years (there used to be a RAF base fairly close to my area and they would have been stationed at the RAF in Cyprus) - they said they were used to being in hot conditions,

We have survived the house move. 
Still some smaller things to move down to the new house but Dad wants to do that at his leisure, over the next few days.

a smooth day here, very sunny and everyoneâs in good spirits I was supposed to be at the beach on Sunday but if the heatwave continues, I think it a bad idea (for the dogs)!

Summer, I think you will find that the temperature drops back down by tomorrow to a high of 20 so it may be OK for the dogs.

Moonie, I know what you mean by "game management". I thought though that, if it becomes obvious time wasting, injury time is increased to compensate.

Its hot out there already. Just been up the park for a quick visit and it was a quick too. All okay there
Saw an angler up there. He only had shorts and a t-shirt on

Saw a few minutes of a very minor western called Panhandle (1948).
Of interest only is the man on the right, a minor actor, also co-wrote and co-produced the film, his first time behind the scenes work. Blake Edwards much better known for his later films notably Breakfast at Tiffany's and the Pink Pnather films.
