I well remember the painting by numbers craze, some of our efforts had a definite look of Picasso and not in a good way

good evening gang I hope youâre all well and having a lovely weekend 
Iâve had a busy couple of days, including setting up my new router & WiFi network. Sky wouldnât offer me a good deal to stay so Iâve switched providers. All went smoothly until my printer decided to not join in lol itâs now sorted out, and working perfectly again. Phew. Just in time too, Iâve caught up on bookkeeping and had some reading material to print off too, which frees me up to enjoy tomorrow Iâm going to explore somewhere new with Bramble, and settle down to watch The Durrells later on.

We had a pleasant weekend and I've just come back after dropping my brother off at the railway station. He had to catch an earlier one as the 4 o'clock one had been cancelled (that's hardly the first time).
Apparently on the timetable there's a late train leaving after 10 pm where a change is required. Anyone catching that would be waiting at that out of town station which has little in the way of facilties for some time before the second train arrived - some 5 hours 
- total journey time - 8 hours. My brother's journey isn't that bad - around 3 hours.
Summer, I hope the fog lifted so you were able to do your exploration
Good to read you had a nice time El. Three hours is a bit of time but I hope your brother gets home safely and on cue. I believe all trains should have CCTV in them and a conductor. The latter's for Southern Rail.

My day didnât go to plan but itâs been brilliant. Iâve had a lovely day of me time And we did a very local explore and I learned a new route! We were lucky because the sun came out a couple of times just as we were out, but it fogged over when we got home. I had a marathon pampering session too and read a magazine in the bath
