Very high profile tax case with Lorraine Kelly winning (though HMRC may appeal).

The BBC article is more readable than the typical tax case. It's one of those IR35/personal services companies cases. If it's decided that the contract amounts to an employer/employee one (which is a contract of service) then HMRC win, if it's a contract for services (which is what the judge decided) then HMRC lose.

The Virgin Media broadband connection is playing up at present. It was unavailable for an hour or son yesterday midday and was out for just under an hour earlier this morning. I've checked the status checker on their site and it's a known problem which they are working on (their estimate by 3 this afternoon). It doesn't happen very often and generally only an hour or so.

Cheltenham's win this afternoon means that they have 48 points after 39 games with 7 matches left. They are 14 points ahead of the bottom two clubs with a much better goal difference. So, although they will want to get more points of course, they are looking fairly safe.
