Well i have worried all day about those keys, i came to the conclusion that when he came in last night he must have left them in the door and someone had taken them. I searched everywhere. i put a washing on and heard clanking, i thought , not the washing machine now breaking down. But yes it was they keys! i told him last night to put his washing in, and the keys must have been on the floor (where he keeps his clothes ) and he had picked them up with the washing. I have ranted and raved most of the day!!

Thanks Skylark.

Your son's bedroom sounds like No3 son's room. He thinks the floor is for hanging clothes on.

Skylark, your son's keys are well done on your unsponsored spin cycle

At least you can relax now, but it must have been a thoroughly frustrating day for you Hopefully your washing machine hasn't been damaged by the keys.

Ha ha El !!

Morning all Happy weekend Skylark clothes on floor! How frustrating I'm very glad the keys have been found- were any of them remote for a car?! Yogi, well done to your son sounds like he's earned a hearty breakfast this morning! I'm off to get ready for work, will pop in from there if/when I can *leaves serving trolley of full English breakfasts*

How is your sense of smell generally Summer?  I know with some people its better than others.  Both my hubby and my daughter had sinus problems so I was the official 'nose' of the family

The day is going not too bad, I've just been playing chemicals and testing the water from my pond to make sure its OK for the fish.

How's the weekend going for you?  Weatherwise its made a sharp turn for the worse down here and has turned chillier as well.

Thanks Soozy and Yogi, I thought I'd got away with it, I knew I'd caught it with a mug but when I went to pour tea this evening it felt loose and its only holding on by a thread now.  I have sorted out another teapot but its in the cupboard because it is so difficult to pour from, it takes up a lot of room, its very round and very low.  I shall be sensible and ditch the other one.

I think I will sign out now, catch up with you all tomorrow

Aw skylark hope your arthritis eases for you very very soon, and I hope it hasn't spoiled your weekend too much. El, I've only just read your earlier post about my bus stop achievement, thank you very much I love the bus stop, they really are a hilarious bunch in there I'm currently sitting on our portable massage chair- mr summer gave it too me one Christmas, I don't use it a lot, although I should really, but I'm enjoying it and hating it at the same time
