night summer and everybody

Nothing particular as much of it is repeats. I did notice yesterday that they've started showing odd episodes of Callan at 9 some days but not in any order. Yesterday's was the very first episode but tonight's is the 6th. Those are from 1967 starring Edward Woodward. Top agent/assassin in the British Security Service. Closer to the Ipcress File rather than Bond. Highly regarded at the time.
Love Callan and Russell Hunter aka Lonely.
Good morning everyone
Lots of rain here last evening and overnight, heavy showers forecast for today.
Yogi, I hope you were able to have a nice time with the tiddlers
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone
Heavy rain, up here.
We had a good time with the tiddlers. They liked their new teepee, complete with colour changing lights and a dream catcher.
Hope you are all well?
Normal Yogi service has hopefully resumed.

The connection between:
Sarah Drew
Loretta Swit
Meg Foster
and Sharon Gless
Played the character of Chris Cagney in Cagney and Lacey? - loved that programme

Iâm trying hard, Twickers
Welcome back Yogi I'm glad you are feeling a lot better and had a good time with the tiddlers
Yes, they played the part of Chris Cagney Sarah Drew was in a remake made fairly recently, Loretta Swit was in the pilot episode made before the series was commissioned. More likely to have been remembered was Meg Foster from the first series (the actress with the striking pale blue eyes) and obviously Sharon Gless was the giveaway clue
Re Talking Pictures, I noticed that next Tuesday at 10 am they are showing a 1969 film called Lost in the Desert. Not at all well known but it may be worth watching. It's based on true events about a 8 year old boy and his dog standed in the Kalahari Desert after a plane crash. It's a South African film. Has a BBFC certificate of U back in 1970, more likely a PG now as there's a scene where they boy wrongly thinks that's he's eaten his dog (who quickly then reappears).
Good morning everyone, a mix of blue sky and greyish cloud this morning. Probably going to be showery again but the garden loves it so there's always an upside.
Enjoy your day everyone
Morning all
It's teaming and I love rain. Better than sun.
Yogi - hope the kids gave you a perk up and you're feeling better

Good morning everyone
Itâs cold wet and very windy here but managed to get out in a dry bit first thing
Have a good day everyone but if you have go out for goodness sake be very careful
Moonie, the wind has strengthened here but the weather's a lot better then where you are. I hope it improves soon for you
I'm on the 6th series now of Once Upon a Time - the 3rd episode which is the one with their take on the Cinderella story.
It included this Scottish lullaby:
Sleep Well was written by Murdoch Maclean. The above clip is the complete short poem rather than a clip from OUAT. It's a gem.

Thanks Ros, itâs good to be back.

the re-emergence of the Evil Queen and the introduction of Jekyll and Hyde (the producers are getting away from Disney characters - I've seen the episode with The Count of Monte-Cristo/Edmond DantÃĻs).

Good morning everyone.
It was chilly overnight and rain and gusty winds are forecast.
Going to get my haircut later - will give you a twirl when I get back.
Have a good day, all.
Yogi, I hope the gusty winds don't mess up your hair
My neighbour is getting rid of the hedge between us at the front. My Virgin Media cable runs along it at the bottom. I've warned the men doing this to be very careful. If you don't hear anything from me you know what's happened as I would be without any internet or phone for quite some time.
Good morning everyone, not quite so windy here now, cloudy and dry. I hope they are very careful where they dig EL.
Enjoy your day everyone

Hi El
When the council re did the pavements at the front of my house they cut through my Virgin media cable. It cost the council ÂĢ300 too have it repaired by Virgin media. It was done within 48 hours
I would surmise your profession requires you to have access to the internet most of the time. I hope you donât have any problems
Hi Moonie
I think they've just about finished their work without mishap
This is the quiet time of the year workwise but I do need access to the internet and phone most of the time for my work
