Anything bookmarked on Talking Pictures El?

Nothing particular as much of it is repeats. I did notice yesterday that they've started showing odd episodes of Callan at 9 some days but not in any order. Yesterday's was the very first episode but tonight's is the 6th. Those are from 1967 starring Edward Woodward. Top agent/assassin in the British Security Service. Closer to the Ipcress File rather than Bond. Highly regarded at the time.

Love Callan and Russell Hunter aka Lonely.

Welcome back Yogi I'm glad you are feeling a lot better and had a good time with the tiddlers

Yes, they played the part of Chris Cagney Sarah Drew was in a remake made fairly recently, Loretta Swit was in the pilot episode made before the series was commissioned. More likely to have been remembered was Meg Foster from the first series (the actress with the striking pale blue eyes) and obviously Sharon Gless was the giveaway clue

Re Talking Pictures, I noticed that next Tuesday at 10 am they are showing a 1969 film called Lost in the Desert. Not at all well known but it may be worth watching. It's based on true events about a 8 year old boy and his dog standed in the Kalahari Desert after a plane crash. It's a South African film. Has a BBFC certificate of U back in 1970, more likely a PG now as there's a scene where they boy wrongly thinks that's he's eaten his dog (who quickly then reappears).

I'm on the 6th series now of Once Upon a Time - the 3rd episode which is the one with their take on the Cinderella story.

It included this Scottish lullaby:

Sleep Well was written by Murdoch Maclean. The above clip is the complete short poem rather than a clip from OUAT. It's a gem.

I’ve never heard that one before.

Yogi, I hope the gusty winds don't mess up your hair

My neighbour is getting rid of the hedge between us at the front. My Virgin Media cable runs along it at the bottom. I've warned the men doing this to be very careful. If you don't hear anything from me you know what's happened as I would be without any internet or phone for quite some time.

Hi El

When the council re did the pavements at the front of my house they cut through my Virgin media cable. It cost the council ÂĢ300 too have it repaired by Virgin media. It was done within 48 hours

I would surmise your profession requires you to have access to the internet most of the time. I hope you don’t have any problems
