Do you like the rain, El? I love the sound of it

the fog got worse, but is now clearing. It’s still very chilly though

It depends on how heavy the rain is, which direction the wind is coming from and how strong it is, and for how long the rain lasts. So sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't

Just returned from some routine local shopping. No rain but not that warm.

Looks as if Squiggle hasn't been able to get on here due to the internet problems she mentioned yesterday

I hope it’s sorted soon for her

Good afternoon everyone, yes EL the Open Reach engineer has been sorting out the problem (hopefully) and found a part that needed replacing in the nearest junction box.  I still don't know why the speed would increase after placing a call to technical support though Thanks Moonie, here's hoping.

Enjoy what's left of your day everyone

squiggle

Squiggle, I hope that the engineer has sorted out your connection problem If part of the slowdown was caused by too many people in your area trying to use the broadband at the same time, a technical support person could improve your speed by restricting other users speeds but that would only work for a short time. That's just a possibility though, it could be just a coincidence.

Good morning everyone

Cloudy here, rained overnight, temperature now mild for the time of year.

Ros, I assume that the dragon near your Tesco is red in colour. What became of the red dragon at Dinas Emrys after it beat the white one?

Summer, I hope your walk yesterday was a good one

I hope everyone has a good day

Beddgelert-what a place  -love Snowdonia- red dragon on the welsh flag?????and yes it is red EL the one by Tesco-- it is called Blodwyn

Good morning everyone

A bit murky here at present after a wet night, forecast to be dry until tonight.

Ros, I hope you continue to get better quickly
Yes, it's quite possible the defeat by the red dragon over the white dragon (or the people they represented ) is the reason for the flag
I wonder why your Texco dragon is called Blodwyn as the name derives from blodau gwyn = white or fair flower

Yogi, I'm glad you had a good day with the tiddlers

I hope everyone has a good day

Good morning everyone

Fairish weather here at present, tomorrow and Friday isn't looking to be a day for going for a marathon walk for anyone.

Summer, good luck in your quiz search

The client with the pension excess tax charge has been emailing me with tax code notices he's received. I believe that the corrected one arrived before the incorrect one just to confuse him so have emailed him back to try to explain this.

I hope everyone has a good day

What happens if neighbours tree falls on your car?

Where do you stand?  Insurance and all that?

Not being a car owner or even a driver, I would have thought it would come out of your car insurance if it is of the ‘comprehensive’ type

That’s just my opinion though

Twickers, I think Moonie is correct. The car owner's insurance if it's a comprehensive one, otherwise not covered. Unlikely to be the house owner unless the driver could prove that the owner knew that the tree was in a dangerous state and did nothing about it though that could involve taking legal action and going through the courts - the car owner would need to show that it was down to negligence rather than an "Act of God".
