Out and about today - trying to catch up on things I had intended doing last weekend.

Dry here and getting colder during the day. Tomorrow not expected to be any warmer, Forecast to turn warmer on Saturday but there could be snow for some places in the process.

Client meeting at 7 this evening by which time the effective temperature is forecast to be -1C.

edinburgh was brilliant! We even did the sight seeing bus tour, and went on the tallest, scariest ride!

Which bus tour did you go on? There's the green bus Edinburgh tour which covers the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh Castle and the Georgian New Town. the red bus Citysightseeing tour which covers the Old Town, Edinburgh Castle and Calton Hill, and the blue bus Majestic tour which covers the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, The Royal Yacht Britannia and Leith’s beautiful shoreline.

There's a Met Office snow warning for Scotland and northern England for Saturday/Sunday.

my mum did go on the ride, and made me do it with her! I’d have talked myself out of it without her

you wouldn't be the first person to do that.

Next time you are there you'll have to try one of the other buses. Just imagine being upstairs in the open topped blue bus in the depths of winter in 70 mph winds going by Letih's shoreline
