A BBC Business news item today on the possibility of nuclear fusion reactors may be getting closer to a reality:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-46219656
There's a big difference between nuclear fusion reactors and nuclear fission reactors which have been around for years. Fusion ones would produce vastly more energy from just a small amount of material and would solve energy problems.
The problem is that at present to create a fusion requires more energy going in than being generated and to be able to make a reactor strong enough to be able to sustain the huge pressures and high temperatures needed.

If it wasn't so cloudy you would be able to see a nuclear fusion reactor up in the sky.

Never watched the film The Bofors Gun as not the sort of film which has any appeal to me. It was the first feature film where the music was composed by Carl Davis. He, together with Kevin Brownlow and David Gill, worked on the silent film restorations shown on television during the 1980s and early 1990s. Anyone interested in silent films would recognise those names. Their most significant work was restoration work on the French film Napoleon. That film was further restored and was released by the BFI a couple of years ago with Carl Davis's score.

Yogi, I doubt if The Bofors Gun would appeal to you. IMDB summary "A national service non-commissioned officer (David Warner) comes face to face with an embittered Irish Gunner (Nicol Williamson) who is determined to humiliate him."
Possibly the only thing of any interest to you is that John Thaw is in it. The film was made years before The Sweeney and of course even a longer gap before he bacame Morse.

I loved John Thaw but think you’re right, El, it wouldn’t be my type of film

Goodnight and sweet dreams, everyone

Good morning everyone

Cloudy and mild here, bits of blue sky amidst the clouds.

University students being bombarded with scam tax refund emails:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-46234014

HMRC say this is the most systematic attack yet.

Because university students have summer jobs, for instance, and not earning at other times, they are likely to be able to get tax refunds.

I hope everyone has a good day

No health risks as far as drinking green tea is concerned but taking green tea supplements can be risky:

though Sheridan Le Fanu's horror story "Green Tea" would put people off drinking any green tea - if you've drunk any, then get on a bus and see a sinister monkey looking at you, then you've got problems.
