night yogi summer if you pop in
Good morning everyone
Some sunshine here, forecast is for a mainly cloudy day. Turns colder tomorrow and the weekend as publicised but I'm not expecting any snow in this part of the country.
Watched that film I mentioned the other day "It should happen to you". It's a good film and is about a woman looking for fame, just to be famous. It's on Talking Pictures again today at 18.00.
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone, feels a bit nippy this morning. I would have had a lovely view of the harvest moon setting this morning but the clouds kept getting in the way and obscuring it, it was very bright when it was visible.
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning everyone.
The rain has stopped for now.
Squiggle, what a shame the clouds obscured your view of the harvest moon.
El, itâs also to turn colder up here at the weekend but drier and brighter too.
Grocery shopping awaits, have a good day, all
Squiggle, those clouds do tend to obscure astronomical things one wants to see
Yogi, yes, it should be sunny much of this weekend I hope your shopping goes smoothly
102 year old man was stuck on his flat roof in Devon for 3 days. It's thought he fell over while trying adjust his TV aerial. He's in hospital in a stable condition after the woman who delivers his milk and papers was concerned over finding that the milk for two days was still there,

It's not the first time that it's been someone like the milk or post person has sounded the alarm.
Evening gang
aw god love that old man. 3 days is a very long time and itâs really sad that no one else noticed sooner.. it seems to me that living to be 100 is a very lonely business. I hope heâs now safe & recovering well, and that the hospital can help find him some companions
I hope youâve all had a good day I whizzed over to the Lake District and back yesterday to visit my best friend, sheâs on holiday over there. It was lovely to see the whole family
night yogi and summer

Apologies for not returning, Ros. My son stayed to watch Gordon, Gino and Fred with me.
Good morning everyone.
Weather is dry and chilly.
Summer, Iâm really pleased you were able to meet up with your friend.
No plans for today, have a good day everyone
Good morning everyone
There's been some rain here and it's not going to be that warm today with tomorrow being the coldest day for months.
Summer, you had quite a busy day whizzing around
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone, it's cold and breezy but with lots of blue sky and fluffy white clouds. How lovely to be able to pop over to the Lake District Summer, I'm glad you had a good catch-up with your friend and her family.
Enjoy your day everyone
Even if the roads weren't busy it would take me 4 hours to get to the Lake District and that's mainly on the motorway, so not really somewhere to pop over to for the day
Back at the end of last year I posted about one of those very violent computer games ("Call of Duty") had lead to the police shooting dead an innocent man. The man responsible for this is in prison awaiting trial and has now been charged with many more offences of a serious nature:

My brother should be arriving in a bit over an hour for one of his weekend visits so I won't be around here much.
I hope everyone has a good weekend

Goodnight and sweet dreams, Ros and Summer
Good evening ðĪ and happy birthday again Ros ððððŧ I hope youâve got a fab weekend to look forward to
El, have a great time with your brother

Good morning everyone
On the cold side here and a bit frosty. There's a weather warning for snow and ice but that's for northern Scotland and North Ireland.
Thanks everyone, having a pleasant time with my brother
Summer, that was nice for you to catch up with your mum
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone
When I woke at 6am, there was frost on the roof of my car but not on the lawns.
Forecast is for a bright and chilly day.
Summer, I hope your mum had a good time.
El, did your brother bring cake?
Off for our flu jabs this morning, then middle son visiting in the afternoon.
Have a good weekend, all
Yogi, I think there's slightly more frost here than where you are. The car windows are clearing of frost, mainly through sunlight rather than getting warmer.
Yes, my brother brought cakes with him, the same as last time, some little lemon drizzle cakes and some tiffins from M&S - they are nice
I hope all goes well with your flu jabs. I had mine on the 1st when I went for my blood tests. So I would have been amongst the first to get the new enhanced version, the one which gives a boost to the immune system to improve the body's resistance to bugs. That's being given to all those over 65. Those under 65 who get flu jabs will get the one which isn't enhanced. Whether I actually need the enhanced version is a bit questionable. You'll need to check with the person who gives you the jab as to whether it's OK for you to have it but I've seen on a website that you should be fine, just check with your people first.
Good morning everyone, lots of blue sky and interesting clouds going by this morning, we've had a dachshund and a dragon trying to eat a fish, oh and a little mouse as well.
I'm glad your weekend is going well EL with delicious cakes as usual. I'm sure your Mum had plenty to tell you about her trip Summer. I hope your day goes well Yogi, Moonie, Ros and Velvet too of course.
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning I woke up to snow this morning, and we had a nice big flurry of it first thing too! Now the sun is shining and itâs all gone
moonie i hope youâre warm & snuggly
El those cakes sound delicious!!
yogi I hope you feel alright after your flu jab
Squiggle, your clouds are a lot more interesting than the ones here as it's now rather gloomy and rainy. The cakes are nice. I restrain myself to just one tiffin - my brother has a lemon drizzle cake as well. The tiiffins are quite substantial as you would expect.
Moonie, it seems rather early for snow to be falling. There could be some in this part of the country but I would think just on the hills.

Yummy cakes, El. I love lemon drizzle cakes.
I wasnât offered the enhanced version, I think they were simply doing it by age.
It was cold up her but no sign of snow. squiggle posted:Good morning everyone, lots of blue sky and interesting clouds going by this morning, we've had a dachshund and a dragon trying to eat a fish, oh and a little mouse as well.

I feel fine after the jab. Sometimes my arm aches a little for a couple of days - otherwise, I donât usually have any symptoms.ðĪðŧ
