night yogisummer glad you are enjoying your holiday
Good morning everyone
Going to be a warm sunny day here with a forecast maximum of 21 C.
Yogi, I'm glad the tiddlers were on good form
Moonie, I'm not aware of technical issues affecting this site. Lori has announced that there's server maintenance today from noon to midnight - there may be short "outages" lasting 30 seconds - if that happens, wait a couple of minutes and try again.
I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning everyone.
Itâs sunny! A nice change from the rain of the last few days.
Visiting my parents today.
Have a good day, all
Yogi, I'm glad your rain has finally given up and that you've got a sunny day, I hope your parents are well
Good morning everyone, not a cloud in the sky today, but the forecast is for rain from this evening on, and I think the winds could get a bit fierce as well.
Enjoy your day everyone
Squiggle, the rain isn't forecast in my area until tomorrow evening - it's going to be a windy couple of days though no weather warnings at this time.

Good afternoon Buddies
We have sunshine and itâs getting warm already
Washing in the washer, banking all done
I wonder what the rest of the day will bring
Yogi, have a lovely time at your parents. I hope you find them well
Back later no doubt. Have a great day everyone

Thanks El and Moonie. Dad is okay but Mum has had a tummy bug and hasnât been eating since the weekend. Sheâs so tiny and frail, I worry when she doesnât eat.
Yogi, could your Mum manage something like Meritene Soup (from Nestle)?
Boots stock vegetable and chicken versions.

Hopefully she will get over her tummy bug soon and start eating again

Good morning everyone
At present it's quite sunny here but forecast to become showery. Forecast isn't good for Friday and Saturday.
Return visit this evening to the client who asked me various questions, some irrelevant, last time. What should be a routine straightforward meeting may turn out not to be. "I am building a time machine to go back a few years and make more money. Can I get tax relief for the costs of the time machine? In which year shall I have to pay the extra tax on the higher income and if that's backdated will I have to pay interest even though I didn't know when I sent in my return that I would make more money?"
I hope everyone has a good day
When I was looking through the Radio Times I noticed a film called "Home Sweet Home" on Talking Pictures channel on at present. It's a 1945 British musical comedy and would only appeal to fans of the north country comedian Frank Randle. What I noticed was the name of the lead actress Nicolette Roeg. I checked that out and she was the older sister of Nicolas, the director, best known for "Don't Look Now" and "The Man who fell to Earth" (and also that apocalyptic Aids warning short voiced by John Hurt).

I hope you can keep a straight face if you get any weird questions today
Good morning everyone
Cloudy and dull weather, with rain and wind forecast.
Grocery shopping and ironing awaits.
Have a good day everyone
Very wet and windy here and set to last all day. Sounds like your client has a vivid imagination and a strong desire to keep as much of their money out of the taxman's hands as possible EL.
Enjoy your day everyone
Yogi, I hope you can get your shopping done before the rain arrives
I hope my client doesn't come out with any questions as weird as the ones I suggested Squiggle, I don't think my client would want to get involved in anything dodgy - if she did, we'd part company.
Although there are yellow warnings for rain and wind tomorrow and Saturday quite widely, there is an amber warning for south Wales - 2 inches of rain widely there and some places over 6 inches

The second one is for Moonie, there's one for steam train fans, lots of variety, and then there's the last one of Jessie

Beautiful pictures, especially the swan one
Just to let you know that the client didn't ask me any odd questions so I escaped unscathed

I liked those most as well. Did you spot that the steam engine was in the opposite direction to the carriages as if pushing them rather than pulling?
