Good morning everyone, a nice morning with hardly a cloud in sight.  I'm glad you had such a good day with the little ones Yogi, my day was made by a little boy who stayed overnight with his Daddy heading off for his first day back to school so I got kisses and cuddles while I was still in bed, a perfect way to start the day.

It’s breezy and cold here but dry, so far 

Shopping done. So me finished outside for today 

I saw a car driving along my road this morning and went 

The windscreen had impact damage on most of it. Just like it had hit someone, who then impacted it or something very heavy had been dropped on it from a great height 

There was about nine inches each side of the impact to see out of and this moron was still driving it 

Blatant disregard for other road users or pedestrians 

If I could have got the registration number I would have reported it to the police 

Lets hope someone will be quicker than I and report it

Thanks all  I'm back and the meeting went well as I'd expected.

Moonie, I would think that the police would have stopped that car as soon as they saw it or someone else reported it. Assuming they catch the driver, the driver will get prosecuted for driving a dangerous car and lots of other charges.

Lets hope he is caught and suffers the consequences of his stupidity and gross disregard for other people 

Moonie, if that driver gets caught and prosecuted you may get to read it in the local paper as police often publicise exceptionally bad cases as a warning to others.

Moonie, you could still have reported it to the police on 101 at the time even without a registration number as you could have given them the make and colour of the car and the direction it was moving to.

Cloudy and rainy day here.

Summer, I'm glad you were able to resolve that cookies problem. The cookies consent box we now get to see from time to time is as a direct result of GDPR coming in. The cookie has a lifetime of 30 days which means that every 30 days we will get the same message appearing. I've got my forum settings set so that I don't need to log in every time. It may be that for people who log out every time will get that message every time.

Squiggle, they were saying on the radio weather forecast yesterday that it was autumnal. My central heating came on automatically first thing yesterday and again today, though it stayed on for about an hour this morning.

I have a programme on now called UFOs: The Lost Evidence...

To be honest I would be inclined to give their ‘so called evidence’ a little more credence if all the contributors aren’t making millions of dollars out of the books and videos they release. 

Moonie, one does get some truly dreadful programmes masquerading as documentaries on some of the less watched channels, I can guess just how bad that programme is.

Some weeks ago on one of the less watched Freeview channels I watched an episode of a "documentary" series called "Forbidden History". It's presented by Jamie Theakston. The episode was called "Uncovering the Historical Jesus". The people in it would have been of a similar calibre to those in the programme you watched. It was too purile to be considered worth calling it a documentary.  Conveniently, it fogot to mention a previous episode of the series called "The Real Mary Magdalene" which was also presented by Jamie Theakston.

So, in the more recent episode, the conclusion was that there's no evidence that Jesus existed. In the Mary Magdalene one, they "proved" that she was married to Jesus. I'm fairly sure that some of those interviewed were in both.

Clealy, the producers come up with some concept, then go out and find people who will be able to support that idea, and exclude anyone who doesn't.
