The rain has just started here and it's going to be a wet day, quite possibly for all of us.
BBC article on procrastinators and why some people are and others not. Also mentions mindfulness meditation which Summer has mentioned:

I hope everyone has a good day
Good morning Buddies
Itâs very dull and overcast here. When the rain gets here itâs expected to last most of the day
So I am indoors for the day
I hope you all have a great Bani Holiday

Oh, the aforementioned rain has just arrived
Good morning everyone, we've got the rain here too Moonie, like you I think it's expected to last most of the day. I quite like being cosy indoors watching the rain though.

âPops back to leave a nugget of knowledgeâ
Did you know that if you leave a wooden spoon across the top of a boiling saucepan it will never boil over?
Well I didnât and I still donât but apparently it works

Sadly, not entirely true as if the spoon is left long enough it gets too hot so won't be able to stop bubbles bursting and then the water would boil over.

Afternoon all
We have no BH up here but w do have typical BH weather - wet, cold and miserable.
Like you Squiggle, I donât mind rain if Iâm indoors in the warm.
El, I like to think of myself as a âplannerâ rather than a procrastinator
Summer, enjoy your relaxing PJ day, you deserve it.
Moonie, lots of sport on tv for you today. MrY was watching the Rangers game and now has Formula 1 on - although he appears to be having a nap
Iâll try out your wooden spoon tip, next time Iâm boiling something
From a few days ago, some unusual cloud formations over parts of Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire not that I saw them.

Ah, but in the example I say the spoon had had a round handle and was long enough to go across the middle of the saucepan
Surely that has to make a difference El

Moonie, I think you were referring to the catsuit she was wearing, but if you hadn't heard, a couple of days ago the French Tennis Federation banned it. She's not happy as she was wearing it for medical reasons to stop blood clots:

Some blue sky here but forecast is for a cloudy day. Still on the cool side.
I spotted the photos on Countryfile last evening. I've voted for the Atumn Flame one, but a close thing with the ones Yogi and Summer went for. I wonder which one Moonie would vote for - could it possibly be the third photo
Yogi, how did you get on with your wooden spoon/boiling water experiment?
I hope everyone has a good day
