Good afternoon Buddies

Another very hot and sunny day here. Current temperature is 20 degrees. Feels more like the expected maximum we are expecting, 25 degrees

I did all my shopping and banking earlier this morning when there was a nice cool breeze blowing. Not much of that now though

Have a great day and stay hydrated friends 😊

Moonie

Good morning everyone

Some early morning cloud breaking up here and will be another sunny and very warm day.

Yogi, sounds as if your area was the hottest part of the country, peaked here at 27.

Complex carbon-based molecules found in the waters of Saturn's very small moon Enceladus. Could be that there are some form of living organisms there.

Very striaghtforward client meeting at a client late morning.

I hope everyone has a good day

Good morning everyone

Another sunny morning - it feels hot already.

El, according to the Scottish news, Aviemore was the hottest place yesterday at 31.7° but, they obviously didn’t have one of their official thermostats in my area as it was 32°  between 3-4pm

Off to Morrisons to do my weekly grocery shop. I think I’ll be buying lots of salad and bags of ice.

I hope your client meeting goes well, El

Have a good day, all

Good morning everyone, clear skies this morning with quite a strong breeze which is very welcome.  I would be very tempted to stay in front of the freezer cabinets for a long time if I were you Yogi.

Enjoy your day everyone

lol My middle son and I joked we were going to climb into the fridge yesterday

Morrisons was nice and cool, thank goodness.

Yogi, and to think that it was only about 2 months ago when the talk was all about the beast from the east part 4

Thanks re the meeting  It's just for the client to sign her tax return so as straightforward a meeting as it's possible.

I know, El. My back lawn, which resemble a swamp a few months ago, is now dry and cracking with the heat.

I'm back from that client meeting, very simple meeting as expected

 Excellent

Yogi, I didn't think that you would do something like that

I wonder if the record highest temperature in Scotland has been broken this afternoon (32.2 being the June record and 32.9 the highest ever)

The roof of the Science Centre in Glasgow is melting due to the heat

I know you didn’t, El

I haven’t checked but it is definitely hotter than yesterday. It’s so hot, I can’t even bear it in the shade, under a big parasol.

Yogi, please don't melt

Although it's been sunny most of the day here, it seems to have been fractionally cooler than yesterday.

I’ve got MrYogi’s fan on me and a big glass of ice cold juice to keep cool

Good

So Mr Y is standing over you with a palm branch fanning you whilst you sip on ice cold juice

No, he’s still at work, that’s why I’ve nicked his fan

You might have heard that firefighters from outside Greater Manchester have been called in to help the local firefighters fighting the fire on Saddleworth Moor.

It seems that some of them have come from Gloucestershire from the Forest of Dean area as they have had experience of fighting fires in forested areas. One of them has described it as like being on Mars

It’s be a very difficult situation. Not only the heat from the fire but the heat from the sun too.

Another sunny and very warm day here.

Terrace House, a reality TV programme in Japan, is as different to what we get here. It's without the histrionics and the contestants are polite and apologise if there's any conflict.

Sounds like the original concept of our BB, before it was ruined.

Good morning everyone.

It’s another sunny morning.

Out and about this morning, then hopefully chilling in the afternoon.

Have a good day, all
