Good morning Buddies

Windy, cold, sunny but dry though rain expected later

El, love “precipitation”

Yogi, I hope you slept well, I did for a change

Sweet, awwwwwwwww at Bramble snoring by your feet ðŸĪ—

I hope you enjoy your walk but wrap up warm

Hi Velvet, if you pop in

Have a super Sunday everyone

Still sunny here with no precipitation yet but some is still forecast. I like using the word precipitation when it's unclear as to if it will be snow, sleet, rain, or even hail as for Squiggle's area. The word meant falling down from a height and later for the meteorlogical sense.

It's windy making it feel as if it's zero though actually about 5 C.

Yogi, I'm glad you had a better night's sleep

we walked all day, it was cold at times but we were blessed with blue sky & sunshine my glutes really ache now lol

You live and learn. I have just found out what ‘glutes’ are

Good morning everyone

Sunny and frosty here.

Moonie, reverend is generally used when writing to a member of the clergy though more senior clergy would have a different title. The other titles you have used vary from denomination to denomination. In the Anglican church, deans are the very reverend, bishops and abbots the right reverend, archdeacons the venerable, and archbishops the most reverend.

Film4 is showing the 1943 satirical comedy The Miracle of Morgan's Creek today at 16.25. It's a Preston Sturges classic. I don't think it's been shown on television for many many years. Although it's available on Amazon video, it's not available on DVD in this country other than on import. After an all-night send-off party for the troops, a small-town girl wakes up to find herself married and pregnant, but with no memory of her husband's identity.  Radio Times gives it a 5 star rating and it's worth watching this rarely shown classic.

Squiggle, you are not alone, this winter has been long and it looks likely to continue for quite some time.
The Met Office issued this video a few days ago and it's though that a sudden stratospheric warming may well develop. Although much of this week will be getting a bit warmer, the effect, if it does develop, would be that the rest of the month into early March would be cold.

Good morning Buddies

A little snow last night followed by a sharp overnight frost. However, the sun was out from the word go so it’s not to bad here. A rather cutting though

Shopping and other stuff done so that’s me for the day

*sends snow plough up to Yogiland

Squiggle, the winter seems longer to me too

Have a great day and if you have to go out be careful and wrap up well

Moonie, that's good of you to send Yogi a snow plough

Yogi walked by the lough (means loch) with the plough, finding it tough as she went through the snow doing a thorough job though had a cough and later a hiccough.

An unusual sentence showing 8 different ways of pronouncing words ending in ough.

 Love it, El

Thanks for the snowplough, Moonie. We had some sleet this afternoon and some of the snow has melted.

Good morning everyone, we just had another huge hail storm pass through but the sky is clear and blue now.  Still very cold though, this Winter seems extremely long to me.  Yogi has the right idea a day for hot chocolate and snuggles.

Enjoy your day everyone

squiggle - went to my second choir tonight and we were all saying how long the winter feels
