Moonie, sounds as if the wind there was what was making you feel so cold, I hope you are warm and cosy now

I'm not sure the driver of that car was parking. Might have been making a three point turn at speed

The time I was out and in, the wind didn’t have time to land on me El

Warm and cosy I am a fankoo

It makes you wonder how anyone walked away from that car

Yogi, I hope you’re warm and cosy now

I was cold earlier when I was grocery shopping and then at my nurse’s appointment but, I’m warm and cosy now

I assume that the boy had wandered off from the cafe which was by the arcade machine and his parents were in the cafe.

That’s even worse El

I've found elsewhere that the boy was with his parents in Beef O'Brady's in Titusville. It's a family friendly sports pub and grill place which has pub games. The BBC article is wrong when it says that the off-duty fire officer who rescued the boy was in a near by restaturant and that the arcade machine was in an amusment arcade. Both the arcade machine and the fire officer were in the same  pub as the boy and his parents. Sorry for the confusion but that was because the BBC got it wrong.

Good morning everyone

Grey, cold and damp here, some heavy rain and windy conditions forecast. Just the day for a long walk in the countryside - not

A British 1932 film called Rome Express on the Talking Pictures channel just after noon. A sinister character boards the Rome Express on the trail of a valuable Van Dyke painting, recently stolen from a Paris gallery. Much to his annoyance he finds the train populated with a motley assortment of passengers. including adulterous lovers, a very annoying golf fanatic, a French police chief and an American silent film star any one of whom could have the painting he desperately seeks..

It's quite a talky film but of note in that some of the dialogue was written by Sidney Gillat who 6 years later wrote the screenplay for The Lady Vanishes.

I hope everyone has a good day

Yogi and Squiggle, the weather does seem to have become more changeable. I do my main shopping on a Saturday morning and for a long time it had been generally dry when I went out. But it's been raining every time for the last 4 weeks.

At least I got a packet of these which I hadn't seen before. They are not cheap - ÂĢ3 for what I think will be 4 lots of the advised number of rings for 1 of your 5 a day so 75p per helping. They are nice though.

Summer, don't forget what happens on Tuesday

there’s more chance of us finding 2 identical snowflakes!

What I want to know is, how do they know that no two snowflakes are the same?

Trillions of snowflakes fall a year

Moonie, I posted about why snowflakes weren't the same a few days ago:

Though of course there can be duplicated snowflakes, just extremely unlikely,

Good afternoon overcast, damp and very cold here today. I hope you’re all keeping warm

yogi i I hope you’re getting that lazy day

squiggle, Bramble doesn’t mind the rain, I don’t think she really feels it underneath all that fur. The only weather she seems to dislike is strong wind, which blows her ears around bless her
