I watched it last time but didn't really post - but the threads on here are quite good now and i look forward to them
Most times, the threads are better than the programmes, Ros.

I know - even in BB - TBH wouldn't watch BGT if it wasn't for the thread and the Eurovision one is usually fun as well
I'd definitely skip BGT without the thread.
It can't be long now until Eurovision is on - as long as we have no expectations of winning, it should be good for a laugh.

blue are expecting to win - think they are deluded - how did they choose the song this year - they used to have a vote on BBC
Are you watching anything atm?
I'm trying to catch up with Saturday's episode of Doctor Who.
I'd definitely skip BGT without the thread.

I don't remember any programme to choose a song this year.
Maybe they just commissioned someone to write one.

CSI New york - lve all the crime programmes

I love crime programmes too but I've never watched CSI - my dad loves it.
Was it you who said you had read the Val McDermid books?
I've started reading The Mermaids Singing - it's brilliant. I have another three waiting for me, too.

He's still very active and loves to look after my dog when we go on holiday. She loves him in return because every morning, he takes her on a long walk round the woods.
My mum spoils her rotten, too.

aww and a mum
better go - work
lovely to chat with you as always
night
Goodnight Ros, and thanks for your company.
Good morning everyone
Quite a cloudy morning, and we may get some rain today, but at present Friday night/Saturday morning looks the wettest we've had for some time.
I prefer NCIS to CSI as the characters are quite likeable and there is a light touch to it which makes it more entertaining. My favourite characters are Abby (played by Pauley Perrette) the Goth-like energetic lab tech and Dr Donald Mallard (played by David McCallum).
Good morning everyone, definitely breezy here. Rain is promised but showery and not all places so it might miss us altogether.
I never watch crime dramas so I cannot comment, and the NCIS CSI titles confuse me totally
Catch you later

They wrote "I Can" themselves which is why there were no programmes to choose a song.
Hi everyone. It is pouring with rain up here. I shall console myself with the thought that the plants in my garden were in need of some rain.
El, thank you for the info on the Eurovision entry, I didn't realise Blue had written the song themselves.

Which means when they lose (as they will) we can blame everything on them
My computer guy got back to me (he was taking his daughter up to Gloucester University). Anyhow he is going to put in a new (and much faster and larger) hard drive guaranteed for 3 years, Windows 7 instead of Vista, Microsoft Office and One Click DVD copy all for ÂĢ140. He has picked the laptop up already and I should have it back by tomorrow afternoon. A good result I think but I don't think I would buy anything from Dell again and I thought they were good.
squiggle, that's much more reasonable - I thought ÂĢ200 was a bit excessive.
Gloucester University is just under 10 minutes walk from me (if it's the campus in Gloucester, there are others in Cheltenham).
I think he said it was the Cheltenham one, I could be wrong. He bought a new car while he was up there. Said he fell totally in love with it and is picking it up on Friday week. From a classic car dealers (you might know which one). Its a Triumph Stag and it must be an old one as there is no road fund licence to pay on it which I think makes it pre-1973. Its a hard top convertible, sounds nice.

Good point Squiggle.
Glad your computer guy managed to sort things out for you.
Eldest son has phoned to say he will be popping in for a quick visit and a cup of tea.
Be back later.
squiggle, I don't know which car dealer in Cheltenham that would be. It is unlikely to be Broughtons as they deal with Aston Martins and Bentleys (the cheapest car they currently hold is ÂĢ17k and the most expensive is really expensive).
EL he said it was a classic car dealer which sounds a little specialised, it doesn't sound like it would be the Aston Martin and Bentley dealer.
Thanks Yogi, the best result all round I think, he knows what he is talking about and if says it is a good hard drive that's good enough for me and I am looking forward to investigating Windows 7.
I did get a tiny amount of rain this afternoon - I reckon that if I was able to collect every raindrop which fell over Gloucester this afternoon, it might just about fill a thimble
But it looks as if in the 48 hours from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon I can expect over an inch of rain in some pretty hefty showers.
Hi everyone Hope you are all good. Couldnt get on last night as son was in watching Man U with his pals. Computer seems to have settled down again, touch wood!
Glad you are getting your laptop probs sorted squiggle.
Lashing rain here and i got caught in it, but it will clear the air as it has been very humid today x
Hi Summer Its always nice to be back home isnt it
