I spoke too soon. Just after I signed out, it started snowing heavily again.

The weather here is much the same as yours but in the last few minutes the rain seems to be lighter, though the forecast is for it to continue to early evening. Still on the chilly side outside but supposed to be warmer by mid afternoon.
Yogi, you could well find that the snow has been washed away by tomorrow.

We had another couple of inches of snow this afternoon so I’m hoping that rain hurries up and appears

it’s still her. No snow, no rain. Just snow on the ground. I’m hoping it stays that way

Cloudy and a bit milder here, the rain seems to have run out for the time being.
Yogi, I hope the roads are more passable if you need to go out
I hope none of you are affected by flooding either by yesterday's heavy rain or snow thawing. It's quite possible there will be some flooding here but probably only in those places which are prone to flooding near the river.
